We recently added this EGO Power+ LB4800 480 CFM 3-Speed Turbo 56-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Electric Blower to our collection of yard tools, and we are very pleased with its performance. We already had a battery from our EGO weed whacker, so the fact that this model doesn’t include a battery or charger wasn’t an issue for us.
The blower works well for our residential needs. Our driveway and sidewalk area aren’t very large, so the 480 CFM power is more than adequate for keeping everything clean and tidy. The 3-speed settings, including the turbo mode, provide great versatility depending on the task at hand, from clearing light debris to more stubborn leaves.
One thing we particularly appreciate is the moderate noise level. It's not overly loud, which is great and makes it more comfortable for us to use on the weekends in our neighborhood.
Another standout features is its cordless convenience. Without the hassle of a cord, maneuvering around our yard is effortless. The blower is lightweight and easy to handle, making the final set of our yard work a breeze. The battery life from our existing EGO battery is impressive and lasts long enough to be used in our weed wacker then to the blower without needing a recharge.

Incredibly powerful
I've owned many blowers over the years - gas, plug-in, and battery-powered. This thing is easily the most powerful one I've owned. Absolutely fantastic even without hitting the "turbo" button (which should be labeled the "ridiculous" button). Now that I own 3 different EGO tools, I can tell you that their only drawback is weight; and their biggest strength is battery power (I know you can't, but it feels like you could run these tools all day on one charge). The blower isn't super heavy, but the huge battery definitely makes it heavier than the average blower. The string trimmer and edger I have seem to weigh twice as much as any other similar tool I've owned. They REALLY need a wheel on the string trimmer so there's a design improvement that should be made, but the string lasts 10 times longer than my last Ryobi battery powered unit. I'm going to hope the weight penalty is because the tools are durable and heavy-duty. Anyway, so far, very impressed, and this blower is the best of the tools I've purchased from EGO. If you're a grumpy old dude, you wouldn't have to yell at neighborhood kids to get out of your yard, you could just blow them out. How much fun would that be? :)
