I am so glad I bought this to use for spots only because of my dogs who have accidents from time to time, AND was able to fully clean my 2 staircases from old spots that I was unable to clean by hand previously. This little bad boy did the job on the staircases- just wow! It got rid of 4-5 year old spots that wouldn't come up before, and now they are gone. Was tedious to do the staircases because of the size of the water/ solution tank, but it was a one time deal to have to do. For spot cleaning only, its beyond perfect and still am surprised at its suction ability! So much easier versus using my large carpet steamer every time.

At first I was like ehhh this is basically the cheapest one I pray it does the job and it actually does really well it sprays a good amount of water and has pretty decent suction the water tank is a bit small but that’s not a big deal when it does what it’s supposed to super easy to use it’s nice and compact so i definitely think it’s worth the money

This little Dirt Devil is quite powerful! I had previously borrowed a Bissel ProHeat from my brother, which is over $100, and I personally prefer this Dirt Devil. I have an elderly male cat who is, unfortunately, facing issues with incontinence, and he tends to pee on the couch. My couch is white. This Dirt Devil removed the urine stains and smell with ease. It is very easy to use and has a much better capacity than the more expensive Bissell ProHeat. I highly recommend this machine for the little accidents our furry angels have as they get older!

I only used 1 attachment and that was very hard to get off. A lot of water comes out while using, almost too much. It would have been nice if they had provided a bag for the attachments. No where to put those after use. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I live this little thing. It works extremely well, great suction. I usually use it to clean up cat vomit out of my carpet or water from my truck floors when it leaks, and it does both great. It's better than the more expensive "high quality" brands. It also is compact and has a useful handle on it.

 Overall for spot treatments it is a good design. It’s strong enough to get a heavily soiled spot clean. The detergent reservoir is tiny, it’s a specific purpose machine for a quick spot clean up or maybe a small job like one seat in your car.

Here’s the rub. Look at the video, the top to the dirty water tank does not snap on, it literally rests on top like a top hat. Just gently resting it on its side and all that filthy, geeky water is everywhere. Luckily I had it out on the concrete under my car seat. It is an absurdly overlooked design flaw. If it was locked securely and sealed similar to a mason jar, this is a 6 star specialty tool.

But since the hose is only about 5 feet long and the top to the dirty water does not fasten, this is an enraging accident waiting to happen. I’m in disbelief that they designed it this way and I’ll be sending it back.

I wish I took before and after pictures to show you how well I works! I used it on my couch to clean old, set-in spots from my dog and kids. I was pleasantly surprised when the spots lifted right off! I ended up going over my entire couch. Everyone that walked I my house complemented my couch as if it was brand new! It is easy to use, lightweight, and compact. Since it is compact I did have to fill it a couple times which isn't an issue for me. I almost didn't buy it due to a few leak reviews but I'm glad I bought it anyway. It has not leaked at all for me. Overall, it gets the job done and is a great price!

This vacuum is replacing my Bissell wet vac for pets (Pro Heat) and the Dirt Devil is way better. It's a similar design but the DD fixed a lot of product flaws in the Bissell.

The Bissell has a rigid hose so mine eventually got a tear. I looked the problem up online and found a lot of people had the same issue since the hose gets twisted so easily and eventually just cracks.

The DD is lighter and smaller, so much easier to store. The water tank is also much smaller than the Bissell but that didn't bother me. Suction is about equal on both, but I appreciated that the DD came with an attachment that wasn't a brush (silicone spikes) because the brush is hard to clean and not ideal for certain stains. Also it was impossible to remove the attachments on the Bissell, but it was easy with the DD.

The Bissell cleaning head and tank had so many angles on the inside that pet hair would build up but couldn't be cleaned out. The DD cleans easily and the hose cleaner is amazing.

I never had any issues mentioned in the other reviews like leaking. The only thing that might be an inconvenience is the small tank size, but like I mentioned, that was no problem for me.
