This dehumidifier definitely surpassed my expectations due to prior experiences with other similar sized dehumidifiers. My suggestion would be to just set up using the drain line. The reservoir seems almost too small for how much moisture this unit is able to pull out the surrounding area it is in. Very efficient for its size. The heat generated by most typical dehumidifiers is not as big of an issue with this one. Possibly due to the rotary fan to increase air flow to pull more moisture out of the air. Even with the fan going, it still is very reasonable for the little noise it produces. I would recommend this unit for anyone looking into purchasing one.

Says it in the title. I've shopped on Amazon for years and this is only the second time I've felt compelled to take the time to write a review. This thing works, and FAST. Quiet, easy to set up, and makes the air feel almost immediately cleaner and crisper. Especially perfect for cool, dry climates where your moisture issues are circumstantial. Can find no fault. Will update this if that changes.

UPDATE: A few days after I wrote this review, I found the carpet all around the dehumidifier was wet. When I opened it up, the dripping water had somehow been misaligned with the cannister and it had leaked over the top and out. At first I thought it was user error (as it so often is with me) but it's been doing it ever since, no matter how carefully I try to line it up. I've requested a replacement since it worked so well at first. Will update this if I have the issue with the second one.

This little unit is actually doing a fantastic job. The heat of summer is already too much. My bathroom auto dehumidifier fan has been running nonstop so I decided to try a stand alone dehumidifier . Shipping was fast and I set it right to work. The filter is super easy to clean. The water reservoir holds a decent amount but is a little tricky to empty. Ive taken to either dumping it in the tub or saving it for my plants. It's easy enough to move the unit around thanks to the handle. It's not silent but once you have the TV going or any other sound, you hardly notice it. The only downside I can see is the air it returns is warm. Having warm air blow out of the unit isn't the end of the world but it doesn't help cool the air in the house down as much. Past dehumidifiers I've had shoot a cooler stream of air out and I rather prefer that. But overall it IS taking the humidity down therefore the air temps stay down. Just be conscious of where the back of this unit is so you're not blowing warm air at the wrong thing. Well worth the money for a quick fix on humidity.

It's a cute little dehumidifier. Not too heavy and has a handle for ease of moving around if needed. Price is very reasonable and they usually offer some type of discount on top of that which is always appreciated. It's very quiet and helps keep the air clearer of pet dander, dust, etc. We have 3 dogs and a cat so we are dumping the water reservoir out about once every other day. It's expected so we don't mind. Between living down south and all the pets, it helps make the house feel less stuffy. Not too heavy and isn't too big. Good quality and performance.
