However, there was no description of any sort on the page, apart from "Doogee R10 Stand". It was only when it arrived that I realised that it was actually a stand for a tablet. And not just any tablet, but an Ipad. Ooh. Well, that's what it says on the front of the box anyway. The back also says suitable for a mobile phone, but your phone would have to be massive to fit properly on this stand.
This is a very decent tablet stand which is flexible and can be adjusted to suit most of your viewing preferences. It has clean lines, which I like, and it is collapsible and lightweight, so easy to slip in a bag for travel. The tablet can also be swivelled on the base, the whole 360 degrees. It makes a slight clicking sound when you do this, but it is not annoying. It won't take a lot of weight, but most tablets don't weigh much, so it will definitely serve this function well. The hinges are very stiff, as you would expect, but this means that you need to exert a (little) bit of effort to adjust the angles. The swivel function, in contrast, is smooth - it takes no effort at all to turn the holder.
I shall indeed use it for its proper purpose. However, it would be good if some of the information on the box would be presented in the listing in the future, instead of literally a blank page.

The stand can hold tablets and mobile phones in either portrait or landscape modes and has two lipped supports at the bottom, lined with a silicone type material, to hold devices in place with a further two strips of the silicone material on the front face of the stand to stop the device slipping out of place. The base of the stand has four silicon strips to stop it from moving around on whichever surface you place it on, and these also help prevent scuff or scratch marks from the metal base.
Really useful product and very well constructed.
