So happy with this purchase. Looked over so many reviews and protectors. I decided to go with this one and I was very happy with my choice. EASY TO DO and went on with such ease.
No written instructions included BUT they have a video link printed on the box that you can checkout on line. I didn’t use that because I’ve done this a bunch of times with other screens.
The privacy is pretty good from the side you have to really be close to the person holding the phone. BUT if someone is standing behind you in line at the coffee shop or at the airport, they will be able to see your screen.
In all I’m still happy with my purchase.

Darkens Screen Substantially
The "privacy" that is a feature provided in this product darkens the screen a fair bit and definitely makes it hard for people to see just next to you.I thought I would like this feature but in reality it makes sharing pictures and all sorts of other things a real pain.If you use your phone to read maps while driving, it makes glancing over to see how you are doing or what is coming up no longer possible. If you take a great picture and want to share it with others, they cannot all look at the phone at once - they pretty much need to each look at it directly.Unless you really need/want no one to see what you are looking at on your phone - like it's a security protocol, during business meetings or whatever - you probably don't really want this product.Other than that - the product is exactly what it advertises - good quality and definitely a privacy screen.You could be looking at private stuff right next to someone and they will not be able to see what you are doing. You need to be pretty much looking directly at the screen.It also darkens the screen considerably - not a problem in most situations but on a few occasions I removed the glass in order to see the screen better. This was rarely needed but I did notice that the screen did not have the full presence it had before I put this protective glass on.I have just recently replace this item with another clear protective shield and I am happy that I did - it is not a difference that jumps out at me, like my screen is suddenly way better, it is just that I can see it easily from the side if I want and all the things described above have ceased to be concerns.Seriously, this item is not a bad choice by any means, it looks fine and if you actually need what it does, then overall you Will be very happy with it. If I really wanted security from stray eyes, I would buy this again.

I have used 7 of these screens on the same phone for almost 3 years. It is very easy to install. The privacy function works well. It has also protected my screen from drops and random dings.
I have two complaints:
1.) Both the screen protector and the camera protector crack easily from any sort of impact. I’m usually pretty careful with my phone and have only dropped it from about 3 feet when the clasp on my wrist tether broke a couple times. Any sort of impact big or small cracks the protector, leaving annoying spider web lines all over the screen which looks more obvious with the privacy feature. One time, I placed my phone screen down on a marble surface and it cracked. Another time, the phone was swinging on my wrist and tapped against my keys and it cracked. Depending on how it cracks, the edges can be sharp and cut your finger. I usually keep the cracked protector on if the damage is minimal, and I replace it when it gets worse, or when it starts getting sharp edges.
2.) The camera protector makes your photos with flash look washed out and foggy. I suspect it has something to do with the rubber ring around the flash. I added 3 photos of my office to show the difference and the fog: 1 photo with no flash, 1 photo with flash and no cover, and 1 photo with flash and the cover.
All of this to say that I still like the cover enough that I keep purchasing it to replace my damaged ones. I just wished that it was more durable.
