Bummed I didn’t even get to test this brand with my cat, after opening I was hit with a coconut like scent. I am extremely allergic to coconut, my eyes did immediately puff up and my throat felt a little scratchy. So not going to risk it and gifting this to a friend who also has cats.

This is my favorite tofu litter, it keeps odor down and clumps like a dream. I’ve had the same two bags in my cats litter box for months and it’s going strong (cleaning it daily). There is an odd scent to it when scooping but not unpleasant. Similar to a seed butter or something similar.

I have tried different brands of this type of soy litter (green tea) before and there was few brands that I liked but they stopped making and selling them. Others are not so good. This brand is a life saver, mask odors, easily dissolved in the water and I flush it with ease. Just let it sit in the toilet for a couple of minutes to dissolve before flushing. I am not sure if it is safe for septic tank since I don’t have one (live in the apt). Also this brand has very fine pellets and less dust out of the bag than other brands. It is gentle on my cats paws. I will keep buying this litter for as long as it is sold. My cats love it.

I think I’m going to keep trying with tofu litter but maybe another brand. The price was on the lower end of the tofu spectrum for this one.
I got the activated charcoal.
Pros: it doesn’t track much out of the box
It clumps pretty well, no sticky mess on the base of the box, no dust
Cons: it’s not going to last a whole month and I only have one kitten, there is minimal odor control and we have a covered box so the stink is present until the poop is scooped
