I purchased this Ring camera to augment my Ring security camera system. I was a little uncertain about purchasing a refurbished item, but the warranty was identical to a new camera, and this one was less expensive because it was refurbished. It hasn't failed me yet! It works just like a new camera, sharp picture, solid motion detection, easy to install. After my experience with this one, I bought two more refurbished Ring cameras; I have not regretted any of those purchases. All have performed like new ones.

We bought three of these for our property. The images are so clear. They are so easy to install. We bought the ones that plug in and are refurbished. They looked new. There is a 30 day trial for getting the data from Ring. We liked it so much we bought a year subscription - less than $10 per month. Today, we got home and someone had hit and broken my large celadon pot out front. It was so easy to log in and look - we saw who hit it, could even see the license plate number without zooming in. I recommend this to EVERYONE. It paid for itself within a few weeks. And we have peace of mind - we go to our app to see what's tripped our motion sensor before we risk stepping foot outside.

I thought this was a good buy. When I got it no battery was included. Thankfully I had and extra battery I had previously ordered. I already had 5 cameras. This new camera went on the back shed and had a great overall view of everything. This new camera is working great. Keep in mind if you order a refurbished camera and its cheaper you won’t get a $30 battery with it. They don’t specify this.

Oh, that’s right I had a drop cam, I mean, nest cam, I mean, Apple home cam. It’s which platforms so many times. It’s a brick now. The ring stick up is easier than screwing the Base in to set up. As long as you have a decent amount of Wi-Fi, you are good to go. And if you do have 5G, this product doesn’t work with it. However, you can buy one of many dual repeaters that work on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for about $25 on Amazon and your problem is solved and your reach his extended. The platform is super simple to scan any day pick the video and send the link via text email or however, you like. It’s great for use in cases were the police are involved.
