Just so you know, this is not a front pocket phone. It's around a half an inch thick. It feels like it weighs about half a pound. Maybe more. The overall performance is great. The seller failed to mention that it comes with a screen protector after I ordered a set of 3. The charger provided is the only one that will work off AC current only. Portable chargers with USB are not compatible. I like this phone alot. Hope it lasts.

Been using for a few months now. The speakers are meh. Nice screen. Battery does last around 5 days. I usually charge from 20 to 80 - 100. It takes a couple hours to charge. No app drawer. I hate having to keep my icons all over my screen/wallpaper. Great cameras. Nice videos. Night vision is cool. I know you can take pics via night vision, but not sure about a video. Would be nice if possible. Nice body. Feels hefty and rugged. Back screen is cute. Can only do camera/compass/music control/clock/notifications on it, but you can personalize a little bit. Only comes on if the main screen is off. It's cute nonetheless. Bluetooth 5.2 works great. Has a consistently steady connection to my headphones. I really wanted the Doogee S110, but that has Bluetooth 5.0. I detest when my music connects and disconnects due to a crappy Bluetooth connection. I take public transpo and don't like having to fidget with my cell cuz the Bluetooth sucks. I hate that you can't double tap to magnify. You have to go into accessibility and turn on this weird little icon that hangs out on the side of your screen. 🤮 It's irritating. Every now and then the cell glitches. Not too badly. I just have to shut the app down and then reopen it. WiFi connection is strong. I recently tried my first phone call outside via the cellphone towers, wasn't a great experience. Not sure what was going on there. Calls are great over WiFi. If you desire a decent cell for a pretty affordable price, this is a good choice. However, if you're able to hold out a little longer for a better cell, do so.

So this is an upgrade from an old dinosaur LG v30 thinq I've been using. The v30 was super light and elegant. But the battery didn't last long. I needed a phone that would last all day long at work so the King Kong 9 look like the phone to get.
So included in my box along with the phone were two C cables, a charger block, c cable headphones, a screen protector but no squeegee to install it.
So this phone is heavy. Let me emphasize on "heavy".
It's also a lot taller than my previous phone. If you're in a big and bulky then we're in business.
Everything seems to run super smooth and fast. I've only installed one game on it"pubg"and it plays super smooth and fluid like. The OS is slimmed down with no bloatware. It does have a tool bag icon which offers a compass, level, plumb bob, a level to hang picture frames, and a decibel meter which is kind of cool. I'm not too sure how it'll hold up if you drop it on concrete as it seems like it would shatter or break. I hope not to find out as I do work in an environment with hard concrete floors
Things I do not like or have had problems with:

#1 When you eject the SIM tray there are two slots in the holder. One for the SIM, and the other for another Sim or a TF memory card. There's a small tin metal plate blocking the space for the TF card to make contact. So I have no clue how I'm supposed to install my memory card. It came with a small tri-fold instruction paper, but no instruction manual which I found very odd.
#2 the 100 megapixel camera takes pictures like a 720 vga camera. No matter if your taking a picture, or making a video it's as grainy as grape nuts cereal. I've tried different settings and everything else I could think of and the photo just looks like garbage pixelated with dots everywhere. (The night vision, and the 32 megapixel selfie are amazing) so the main camera is pretty much unusable. I don't know if this is a defect in the phone or just something I'm not setting up correctly. I'm pretty tech savvy but these two issues have me puzzled.
#3. The charging block runs pretty hot. I don't expect it to last very long.
I may send it back if I cannot get these resolved. After all what's the point of a new phone if it won't accept a memory card and the main camera does not work like it should?

This is a bulky phone however does not work with ATT contrary to what is advertised. It is well built and works smoothly, it's a bummer I will likely have to return it for a refund as I was looking forward to using it as someone who is outside in the elements on a daily basis. I guess I should have read all of the reviews otherwise I would not of purchased it

Buon display LCD , si vede bene anche alla luce del sole. Non è un oled ma è comunque un buon display con refresh rate a 120Hz.

Hardware & Software📱
Lo smartphone monta una CPU Mediatek Helio G99 , con 24 GB di RAM (16+8 espandibili). Ottimo hardware per la fascia di prezzo. Il sistema operativo è android 13 , con una UI abbastanza stock con poche personalizzazioni. Il sistema funziona benissimo, non ho mai riscontrato lag o rallentamenti. Veramente molto fluido e affidabile.

Connettività📶
Ottima ricezione del segnale. Peccato la mancanza del 5g. Presente l’NFC

Batteria🔋
Batteria di 10000mAh . Dura tantissimo. In media consumo il 20% di batteria al giorno.

Foto e video📷
Buona fotocamera, 100mpx + 32mpx frontali. E’ presente anche una fotocamera per le foto notturne. Si riescono a fare buoni scatti soprattuto con buone condizioni di luce.

Conclusione
Ottimo smartphone. Sicuramente tra i migliori rugged in questa fascia di prezzo . Ottimo hardware abbinato ad un software molto semplice e funzionale. Ottimo acquisto.

Nicht schlecht!

Haptik: Klobig und schwer, nicht für die Hosentasche geeignet. Aber das wusste man ja. Macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck.

Zubehör: Eine Anleitung ist leider nicht dabei, nur ein "Quick Start Guide". Darin werden auf 2 Bildern nur die Tasten und Slots (in 16 Sprachen) erklärt, sonst nichts. Wie man z.B. einen Screenshot machen kann, konnte ich bisher noch nicht herausfinden, außer über die programmierbare Seitentaste (im Einstellungs-Menü "Seitenschlüsselfunktion" genannt). Allgemein ist die deutsche Übersetzung oft fehlerhaft oder in manchen Menüs auch gar nicht vorhanden (d.h. komplett englisches Menü). Eine ausführliche Anleitung über dieses außergewöhnliche Gerät fehlt mir schon...
Mitgeliefert werden übrigens 2 (!) Display-Schutzfolien (eine bereits angebracht) sowie ein Ladegerät mit Ladekabel (auch nicht mehr selbstverständlich!) .

Die installierte Android-Version ist die Neueste, so neu, dass manche von mir häufig genutze Apps nicht funktionieren ("Diese App wurde für eine ältere Software-Version programmiert!"). Aber auch manche Google-Anwendung funktioniert nicht.

Akku: Das Gerät habe ich vorgestern voll aufgeladen (leider keine QI-Ladung möglich), und ziemlich genau nach 48 Std ist der Akku noch zu 51% voll. Und das, nachdem ich viel installiert, eingestellt und probiert habe. Das war genau der Grund, weshalb ich dieses Handy gekauft habe. Mein jetziges (teures Samsung, 2 Jahre alt) hält nämlich keine 13 Std :-( Also hält der Akku definitiv VIEL länger als jedes Samsung, Apple oder sonstiges Handy, das ein Vielfaches kostet!

Display: Das Display ist äußerst hell und klar, ebenso die Fotos, soweit ich das nach wenigen Tests beurteilen kann. Alles Anwendungen laufen sehr flüssig.

Klingeltöne: die Angebotenen sind nichts Besonderes, eigene Dateien können aber leicht installiert werden.

Das Gerät enthält eine Unterwasserkamera, die wird auch noch getestet! ;-)

Ich werde das Gerät noch ein paar Tage testen und dann entscheiden, ob ich es behalte. Aber die meisten Punkte (natürlich vor allem die Laufzeit) überzeugen mich sehr.

Und übrigens: Wer es nicht schafft, den 2.Bildschirm zu aktivieren, muss nur lesen können:
Frage: Wie öffne ich den sekundären Bildschirm? A: Schließen Sie den Hauptbildschirm und tippen Sie zweimal auf den sekundären Bildschirm.
Funktioniert einwandfrei ;-)

📦 Mon premier coup d’œil :
À l'ouverture de la boîte au packaging réussi (belle petite boîte gris foncé, sobre et solide), je découvre un smartphone avec un look sobre et soigné. Je suis satisfait de ce premier coup d'œil, car l'ensemble respire la qualité. Mais passons au test maintenant !

👨‍🔧 Mon test :
◾ contenu : le téléphone, le chargeur, le câble USB-C, un verre trempé pré-installé, un deuxième de rechange, un outil pour déloger la carte SIM et la notice d'utilisation.
◾ taille : l'écran est un 6,5 pouces (mesure de la diagonale) soit 16,51 cm.
◾ poids : il est de 390 g ce qui est conséquent mais c'est bien normal sur ce modèle qui embarque une batterie de grande capacité et aussi parce que les téléphones incassables utilisent des matériaux en partie métalliques pour les protéger.
◾ batterie : c'est du 10600mAh, soit le double d'une batterie standard. Bien entendu tout va dépendre de la façon d'utiliser le téléphone (appels, vidéos, internet,...) et de la fréquence, mais on peut compter en moyenne sur 2 à 4 jours d'autonomie. Et la charge rapide est supportée car il est possible de recharger à 33W.
◾ mémoire : on est sur du 24GB et sur du 256G en capacité de stockage. C'est fluide, rapide, l'ouverture et l'utilisation de plusieurs applications en même temps se fait bien entendu sans problème. Et on a un bel espace de stockage.
◾ caméra : c'est du haut niveau aussi sur ce point. On est sur une triple caméra 100MP + 32MP. Et c'est appréciable d'avoir de la qualité sur la photo avec un smartphone incassable.
◾ robustesse : les normes supportées sont les suivantes : IP68/IP69K
◾ autres points : j'aime bien la présence à l'arrière d'un deuxième écran qui affiche pas mal d'informations (heure, notifications diverses,...).

📊 Mon verdict :
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
5 étoiles pour ce smartphone incassable de qualité qui conviendra à tous les artisans et bricoleurs.

Resistente e affidabile smartphone per attività all'aperto

Ho recentemente acquistato il Kingkong 9 per utilizzarlo nelle mie attività all'aperto e devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla sua performance e robustezza.

Innanzitutto, la resistenza di questo smartphone è notevole. Il design rugged è veramente ben fatto, con una struttura solida e rinforzata che sembra poter resistere a qualsiasi urto o caduta. L'ho testato accidentalmente più volte, e ogni volta è uscito indenne, dimostrando la sua capacità di sopravvivenza in ambienti difficili.

La durata della batteria è un'altra caratteristica positiva. Anche con un uso intensivo, la batteria dura tranquillamente una giornata intera, il che è perfetto quando ci si trova lontano da prese di corrente per lunghe ore. Inoltre, la ricarica rapida è un grande vantaggio; il telefono si ricarica rapidamente e torna operativo in poco tempo.

La qualità delle immagini è più che soddisfacente. La fotocamera principale da 16 MP scatta foto chiare e nitide, anche in condizioni di luce non ottimali. Le funzionalità aggiuntive, come la modalità notte e la stabilizzazione dell'immagine, sono state un plus per catturare momenti speciali durante le mie escursioni.

Il processore è abbastanza veloce per le mie esigenze. Non ho riscontrato problemi di rallentamento durante l'uso quotidiano e le app si aprono rapidamente. Anche i giochi più leggeri girano senza intoppi.

Un'altra caratteristica che ho apprezzato è l'ampio schermo HD da 5.5 pollici. È abbastanza luminoso da essere leggibile anche sotto la luce diretta del sole, il che è essenziale per chi passa molto tempo all'aria aperta.

Il sistema operativo è Android 11 e la personalizzazione minima apportata da CUBOT è stata apprezzata. Non ci sono state installazioni predefinite invasive o app inutili, il che rende l'esperienza d'uso molto più fluida.

In definitiva, se stai cercando uno smartphone robusto e affidabile per l'uso outdoor, il Kingkong 9 è una scelta eccellente. È resistente, ha una buona durata della batteria, e offre tutte le funzionalità essenziali di uno smartphone moderno. Consiglio vivamente questo telefono a chiunque abbia bisogno di un dispositivo resistente che non comprometta le prestazioni.
