I needed to make 125 take-home workbooks for my high school classes in August. Each workbook consisted of 4 packets: one for each unit in first semester. The workbook was about 3/8" thick, and the binder clips easily fit them. These binder clips were an affordable and easy way to hold the 4 unit packets together for easy grab-and-go on textbook pickup day. They are sturdy, and I had no problems assembling all of these as the packets came off the xerox machines. I have enough left over to produce second semester's workbooks too!

These binder clips are amazing. I used to try to keep my stacks of paper together with gobs of sticky spit, or by concentrating very hard, with varying results. With these clips, there is no guesswork. If you use them properly, your papers will all stay together. TO CLARIFY: You need to open the binder, place the papers between the two now separated black pieces, and then release the silver parts so the black pieces come together again. Merely placing the binders near your papers, or motioning towards papers while holding the clips will not suffice. (I found out the hard way. Bye bye, doctorate thesis! Smdh.) But once you know how to use these things, they work like a dream!

I am very happy with these binder clips, they are great quality. I actually got them to clip fabric row covers to wire supports to cover my plants in the garden.

Not exactly what they are made for, but they are working perfectly. They are holding up to weather, dirt and even occasionally getting stepped on, ( the one I stepped on did come apart but was easily put back together and continues to work.) 

I would definitely buy these again.
