I was upset at first, as I thought it was supposed to come with staples. Don't worry. I found them :) There is a place to store staples underneath the stapler. Pull back the plastic covering and you should find one line of staples. Over all this is a very light weight plastic stapler. I have only used it to staple 2 pieces of paper, so I cannot talk about its sturdiness or whether it will last a long time. I will say that mine came with a rust spot and I do not know if that is because it is pre owned or was sitting in the warehouse for a while, but it does not affect the use of the stapler, so I am not worrying about it.Over all, it is a stapler. It staples.

We need the extra help given by these spring powered stapler. These work fine, but feel a little flimsy. Maybe that is because they are so lightweight. We had staplers made by Staples before but they no longer have that model. This was our next choice for cost and apparent longevity. So far there have been no problems and they are very satisfactory.

I bought this stapler as it was highly recommended on some teacher groups I belong to. It was also said to be one finger stapling and I was tired of having to pound on the ones I have at work. It is pretty easy to staple with as long as it is not too many papers (more than four). It does sometimes not staple and I have to open and close it a few times to get it to work. When you open it the holder of staples will shoot out so you have to be prepared to catch everything. I do really like it for putting up bulletin boards. It's light weight and you don't have to hit it hard to get things to staple to the bulletin board. It's also handy to have staple storage underneath and it has a built in staple remover which also comes in handy. Not sure if I'd buy more for my classroom but it is handy to have for some things.

I had bought one of these at work to minimize fatigue when stapling (I had a traditional metal one before) and this stapler certainly fit the bill. It takes very little effort to staple and you don't get that pain in the center of your hand you get from using those old heavy staplers. Loading new staples could be easier, you have to open it flat (like you would to staple on a bulletin board) and it opens up to load more staples. It's a little weird but it didn't bother me enough to stop me from buying a second one for home use. If you are tired of how hard it is to use your heavy old stapler, you'll really love this one.

In September of 2023, I bought an 'Amazon Basic' stapler, which very quickly started jamming. I guess I got my money's worth, which was daily frustration with a machine that I could not rely on. Pros: I couldn't get this to staple, at all. The staples are in the bottom, under a flip door in the silicon. Turn the stapler over, look for the cutout line in the silicon and pull it back. It was hard for me to figure out out to open the stapler to insert the staples. It doesn't open. The track for the staples will slide horizontally out from the device, backwards, from the middle of the unit. Really. So you have to insert the row of staples into the stapler almost blind, and then lay the end into the part that sticks out. You can see that part, the end of the track. This stapler makes a very solid stapling sound. Too bad all the staples jumbled up at the end. I removed them and kept trying. All I could see on the paper was a solid line indent, no holes. I like that you can open it up and staple on a cork board or similar wall type object. It looks sleek and modern. You can see the staples through the open window on the side. You can use the bottom for a staple remover, a metal rounded lip thingey on the bottom. I never got to try that part because, it doesn't work. It's handy to keep an entire row of spare staples in the trap door on the very bottom. It is non slip as the entire bottom is silicon. Ok, the cons: It doesn't work. It is made of very flimsy plastic which is why it is so light. If you are going to go through all the engineering of a stapler with excellent features, it does no good if the device does not work at all. Going back.

The stapler DOES come with staples. They are located under the stapler in the staple storage compartment. Not sure why people don't read before leaving reviews.

This stapler is really nice. It also drives the staples in by itself with a spring, just like those hand held staplers used in upholstery, so stapling 20+ pages requires no force at all.

Very easy to use. No need to hit it hard, just press gently and the mechanism does all the work.
Product description could use more detail as it fails to tell you what size staple it uses, whether it includes any staples, and, although it tells you it has storage for spare staples, it is unclear exactly where that storage is.
If you do a lot of stapling, I recommend you order more staples when you buy this (No. 26 btw), as there is only 1 extra row of staples provided (hidden under the rubber base).
