While I do love this, make sure to wear your gloves! I have neuropathy so this was a a learning curve figuring out where my fingers go. This is my wrist. Actual size of 2nd degree burn is 1” x 1” All of my other devices have a protective plastic covering so yeah I need to practice with it before using it with it on 😩

ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN FANTASTIC!
Let me enumerate the reasons:
1- Quality made: Wow, attention to detail. There is a velcro wrap for the cord to put away (only my laptop provided me with this!0. It has a very sturdy cover for the plug (I don't even own anything that's provided this!)
2- Weight is not too heavy, nor too light
3- Handle is easy to grip
4- There are more than 3 heat settings (again, Wow!)
5- VERY easy to use (watched a couple of youtube videos)

I used it out of the box yesterday, rushing, thinking this could be a disaster. My hair was pin straight, just past my jawline, had a bit of chi product (for heat protection). Here goes:
1- Sectioned it into about 4, using big clips (have a big head)
2- Bec my hair takes a curl VERY easily, put the heat at 325
3- Started off by using the largest size curl (your turn the knob on top) but, as I went along in the back area, closer to the nape, turned the it to the lower/smaller curl
4- There's no 'beep' or timer for you to figure when it's curled BUT, after your first section in it, you will immediately be able to see if you need a higher temp and also for how long you'd want it. I prefer to fry my hair as little as possible :)
5- Did my whole head in about 15 mins. Have 2 bathroom mirrors that strategically allows me to see the back and side of my head. That was VERY helpful for a first timer!
6- Once all curled, parted it, styled it a bit.

Holy smokes, it looks AMAZING! I slept on it and this morning, ladies, it looks even BETTER!! Btw, I was bit nervous that the barrel itself might be scalding hot but, I slightly grazed my finger on it while doing my virgin-rush-styling and my skin did NOT get scorched. I guess at 325, it's not bad. I did however buy a heat styling glove fr Amazon too for the next time around (int he mial today).

Bottom line: BED HEAD YOU ARE THE BOMB!!! Thank you for a FANTASTIC wave! Mwah!

This waver iron did not work do great with my short, layered hair. It may work better for longer hair. I don't like how part of the rods are exposed. Part of this waver is covered, like the flat irons. With that in mind, I had the false sense of security while using this. In the mirror I could see the covered side and with out realizing other side was not covered, accidentally grabbed hot rod side and burnt my thumb pretty good. I would not recommend this iron for a child/teen. I've used many types of irons, wavers, etc. I bought this one because I had my hair cut shorter and wanted cute waves. It did not give me the look I wanted. This waver may suit others with longer hair. The adjustable wave setting wouldn't hold where I wanted it to. Maybe I was holding waver too tightly. It would collapse back into smaller size.
Temperature control wasn't for my liking. I couldn't find a happy medium heat. It was either to low to wave and hold style or too hot and hair looked frizzy. I just use it to give some volume closer to roots and then take regular 1 inch curling iron over hair. I wouldn't say it's not easy to use, it's just not for my hair type and length.
