If you've done your research about sunscreen, you will know that there are very few of them aren't just protecting you from the Sun but also exposing you to harmful chemicals which in fact also cause the very same thing that they are supposed to be protecting you from.
As such, we stick to badger primarily because they do not use any harmful chemicals. They also don't make any comments about their safety to Marine habitat. I feel like every major sunscreen retailer has made the comment of being Coral friendly and have gotten themselves into legal troubles for that claim. And those claims they get a slap on the wrist and have to take away those wording and get fined a couple million dollars. But in reality they've contributed to the ruining of entire ecosystems which would take 10 times the amount of time and money that they are fined to fix.
Use a good reputable and honest company like badger.

How Did We Get Our Start?
Back in the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte worked as a carpenter. He worked hard, and so did his hands. They would often split and crack in the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. It helped his hands so much, he decided to share it with everyone he knew - and the rest, as they say, is Badger history.

How to Apply Badger Mineral Sunscreens
- We recommend rubbing the product between your hands to warm it before applying. This will make application easier.
- Apply directly to the skin, rubbing it in to protect the entire area and reduce whitening.
- For full protection, reapply at least every 2 hours.
- To cover your entire body be sure to use about a shotglass-full for adults. The phrase ‘a little bit goes a long way' is not true of any sunscreen.

Extremely Thick
You have to squeeze pretty hard to get it out so don’t worry about it coming out quickly 🙂🙃Does leave white marks, so rub it in good. It absorbs quickly and it has a little oily feeling to it but not super oily. I doubt it would make someone break out but you never know since everyone has different skin. I do like it though. Not too many bad ingredients so happy about that. That’s why I bought it. It works well also. No sunburn after sitting for an hour and a half. I burn fairly easily. As long as I keep reapplying every hour 1/2 I’m good. In the video I had gotten a sunburn and was peeling from a lotion that I didn’t know expired so I got this. Just so you know, since you see my skin has been peeling. 😁 I will stick with this brand.
