We have a dog (lab) and a cat. They are not allowed in the furniture so they like to lay on our carpets. I vacuum every other day and our last vacuum stopped working after a year.As you can see on the pictures, there is a ton of hair after two and half days. I'm very impressed with this vacuum. It took me literally about 2 minutes to put it together.After I started (thinking that I'll have to go over the same spot 3 to 4 times to pick up all the hair) I was very surprised with the suction of the vacuum I only went over twice on the same spot and it picked all the hair!!! It was easy to emptied after I was done (see the picture with the amount of hair). I also used the attachment to vacuum the curtain, since our cat likes to walk by the windows.I highly recommend it, specially if you have dogs with long hair. ☆☆☆☆☆

I’m elderly, have osteoporosis and my old vacuum cleaner was hard to push around. I have large areas of carpets and I couldn’t vacuum more than my family room & kitchen at one time. So, I’ve been looking for a new vacuum for a couple of months and after researching each brand I decided to buy a BISSELL. I looked at all the reviews and based my decision on the following criteria: ease of use, weight, pet hair removal (I have 4 inside/outside cats) and cleaning power. This vacuum has exceeded all my expectations. I couldn’t believe how much hair I vacuumed up on my 8x12’ rug because I had to empty it before using again and it had only been a few days after using my old vacuum. The rest of my house is so much cleaner now. It is easy to maneuver, adjustable heights for bare floors and carpets,lightweight, has a heavy duty cord, large rear wheels and the tool suction works wonders. I am so happy with this purchase. I was able to vacuum 3 rooms before quitting. Also, the air seems much cleaner after use. Also, the wand works well and I didn’t have a problem with it tipping over. The only thing I didn’t realize is that it does not have an automatic cord return. This isn’t a deal breaker for me because it only takes a few second to wrap it up. Hope this review helps others.

I love this vacuum. I did research before buying and committing to this one. I chose this one because it received great reviews for both hardwood and carpeting. It’s lightweight and easy to push around and maneuver. It is easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning purposes. Cord does not retract, but that doesn’t bother me. It comes with attachments that are easy to use, great price. I am happy with this purchase!

I bought the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet Reach Full-Size Vacuum Cleaner to replace an old Bissell upright that I had for 20 years. I liked the old Bissell because it was cheap, lightweight and did the job…until it finally just wore out. I had a hard time deciding which Bissell to purchase because there seems to be so many models to choose from. I have 3 dogs, including a German Shedder…so it had to be a model that worked well to pick up dog hair and dander. I ordered the Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet Reach Full-Size Vacuum Cleaner on Amazon and thought I was getting the green colored model but upon opening the box discovered it was the blue version…but I’m ok with the blue colored one, and I think I actually prefer it now, although i think a person should be allowed to select a specific colored product and get what they selected. That said, this upright is really REALLY GOOD! I especially love that you can do your regular vacuuming and then on-th-fly use the detachable handle with vacuum wand to pick up stuff when needed. The suction power is very good and the decibel noise is actually less than my former Bissell upright. My dogs used to go NUTS when I vacuumed because of the noise, but now they just look at me vacuuming without barking!!! The price vs features also hit the sweet-spot in my budget. Yes…it would be nice to have a retractable cord reel, post motor filter and a LED light, but that would have pushed the price well beyond what I wanted to spend. The swivel mechanism that allows the upright body to tilt as you vacuum is a real nice ergonomic finesse feature that makes vacuuming less of a chore. I was amazed at what the vacuum was able to pick up within the large capacity cylinder. I also appreciate the higher-end styling/Industrial Design of this new upright, as I feel that the thoughtful details and quality of parts puts it in the same league as a Dyson upright. It just looks and feels and performs like a cutting-edge product! I opted to purchase an extension wand (and replacement belts/filter) to allow me to even further utilize the detachable handle/wand for hard to reach objects. The overall user experience for me was that I feel very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend this product to anyone who has pets and needs an upright that performs great without breaking the bank.

This vacuum replaces a Hoover. The Bissell vacuum works well . It was well packed and easy to assemble. I used the vacuum for the first time today.
It works well but the Turbo Eraser tool was sounding like it was picking up little rocks vacuuming my carpeted stairs. It was actually the plastic vanes breaking off and being sucked into the hose. I called customer service and described the problem. They are sending a new one to me but they didn't give me any hope that the new one will be any better. I thought that I could use the accessories from my old Hoover but, unfortunately they are not compatible.
Update: Bissell sent me a new Turbo tool. It's not any better. This vacuum cleans carpet very well-much better than the Hoover that I replaced. But the accessories are don't work as well as the ones from the Hoover. The Hoover tools are made of a better grade of cheap plastic. One reviewer complained about the cord on the Bissell being constantly in the way. I agree. This vacuum has strong points; but, maybe not enough to make me like it.
