Our old vacuum was is with us for about 10 years. It was time for an upgrade. In the past we’ve only had Dyson. We Believe that it was the best in the market and you can’t beat the lifetime guarantee. I was skeptical about changing over to a different brand and then wonder if I would have to return this product. Purchasing another Dyson was not in our budget. We are a family of four and one four legged family fur member 🐶.So when I saw that this item was on sale, I went for it. I can’t believe how amazing this vacuum has turned out to be! I have two daughters, four-year-old and a one-year-old. As you can imagine, there’s always messes, crumbs and spills . Of course our German Shepherd tries to help out with these messes. But with a German Shepherd, shed happens 24/7.I vacuumed our master bedroom to try it out. It is unreal to see how much fur and gunk was trapped in the canister. I knew we needed a new vacuum but I didn’t realize it was this bad. My carpet is starting to look like it did when we first moved in… Brand new! I’m so excited and can’t wait to use it in the rest of our house!!!Some of the other reviews mention that this vacuum is a bit heavier. In comparison to our Dyson, this thing is light and has great maneuverability. The suction power is great, no tangled hair so far and not to mention every purchase helps save a pet, just make sure you register/activate to trigger a donation from Bissell.So overall, I’m giving this a five out of five!

I can not express how happy I am with this purchase! This machine is amazing. I have sever sinus issues, really long hair that goes everywhere and always gets tangled up in vacuum brushes and had a really horrible vacuum before I got this one! This was the answer to my prayers all in 1... the Hepa filter is amazing all that goes in stays locked in so if you've got allergy and sinus issues this is a godsend! no irritation from just simply running the vacuum, the brush is spotless after vacuuming the entire house so passed the tangle free brush test and I thought my apartment floors were clean, hell no! I had a tank full and I wasn't even trying too hard was just testing it! And operating it is so smooth, such a powerful machine the suction on this thing is incredible.... love that the brush automatically pauses while vacuum is on if you put it back into an upright position that feature is a bonus. 2 thumbs up!!! def recommend

I have long black hair that always gets tangle in my previous vac. With this one it doesn’t get caught in the brush like it did the other. Most of it goes straight into the dust container. Love the steering, super flexible and easy on the wrists. So much more power than the cordless vac and picks up way more!! I used to vac every week with my cordless vac but 5 minutes with this thing made all that look like nothing. Only thing I’d need to adjust is the ability to vacuum the rugs. It’s so strong even when it’s on the portable setting, my rugs still gets disarray. It’s a little on the heavy size but nothing like the older vacs and much more convenient than the two separate piece vacs. It was pretty easy to assemble. The instructions were very easy to read. Ai was able to buy a ‘used’ or ‘cosmetically’ damaged one but it was only an opened box and the product was just repackaged poorly and it might be missing an attachment or two but not like I was going to use them anyways so I got a good deal… still… it’s worth the full price. I would pay full price if I were to get this again because it’s that worth it.

I like this vacuum. It has great suction and I like the tools it comes with. The cord is Xtra long and im able to do my whole top floor from one outlet which is nice. Only complaint is its very bulky and heavy. Also it doesn't reach under anything very well. Overall though I would recommend as a good hepa vacuum.

This has held up well for a couple of years now. The key is frequent emptying of the canister. Don’t wait until it gets too full and the dust begins shoving itself into the filter. I usually empty it a couple of times when I vacuum a large area. I like that you can see the dust and dirt entering the canister. I have had to clear the hose a couple of times when it became clogged, but this was over a couple of years time. When it clogged, I just checked YouTube on how to easily solve the problem. It hasn’t slowed down with over 100 uses. A great vacuum whether you have pets or not.

LOVE this vacuum! Great suction on carpet & floors! Design is very nice! Hose is very easy to disconnect l. Canister has a handle to carry it from place to place with ease because it is lightweight too. Would b very easy to use on steps! Crevice tool has brush at the end for better cleaning too. Vacuum is very easy to clean also! Everything is easy and powerful about this vacuum! Love the closed HEPA filter! The only thing that took a little getting used to was the swivel. I would have liked better control over the swivel (turn it on & off), but the suction power and other features outweigh that issue. The cord is not retractable but there is a push-in cord holder to use as u vacuum. The cord is plenty long enough to use throughout the whole house. This is a VERY nice vacuum!!

I bought this mostly for the Hepa filter, but it blows dust out of the canister while you use it so the filter is useless. I also have to put half of my arm in the canister to empty all of the dust and pet hair that gets stuck so this is really doing nothing for you if you’re trying to reduce exposure to allergens. The suction is horrible, I have to go over the same areas over and over and they still aren’t very clean. The pet hair attachment doesn’t pick up anything and the other attachment lost all of its bristles after a few uses. It has always “worked”, meaning the motor runs and the brush roll turns so Bissel won’t help with anything.
