As others indicated - matte finish, does have a speckling effect. It does not bother me. The anti glare is what im in for. A lot of people want it when they use it.
Application super easy. Initially there were small air bubbles but the packaging was right it goes away.
My actual screen has some fracturing in the bend (it doesnt affect the function, but i think it affects the flushness). I can therefore see a small line like a stress fracture showing up in the bend of the screen protector. But its been on 4 months and my screen is actually minorly damaged so...
Overall a+. I have a backpacking trip coming up, I'll probably swap out for a fresh one to be on the safe side. If it onoy cost me 11 bucks a year as opposed to going to ubreakifix and paying for inferior product (which I did, multiple times, much to my chagrin) I'm a trueblue customer.

The only thing I don't like about this protector is that when looking at something white in the screen, you can see some sort of color noise distortion. It's always there, just more noticeable with white. You do get used to it, but wish it was more subtle or nonexistent.
Other than that it's a great replacement for the factory screen protector. I needed to replace mine after a bubble started to form along the hinge eventually crossing to the other side. The application process is very forgiving, I re did the placement about 4 times before committing to it. The squeegee part is a little awkward because you'll end up moving the screen a bit while doing it. But overall applying it with the given method works very well and no issues with bubbles forming.
It's also with mentioning that the matte screen reduces glare a ton. It's much easier to see the screen outside and at angles. Plus it doesn't show fingerprints!
Images include the new screen, the old screen protector, no screen protector, and an attempt to show the noise (look at the search bar).

After installing this on my phone a few months ago I woke up one morning to see a large crack that quickly spread in the LED display of the screen. When I installed the screen protector I noticed a strange bump along the curve where the phone bends. No particles were under there, and I just waited for it to disappear as per the instructions. I assume the screen was thicker there and cracked the screen similar to if you slam your laptop when you have a pen on the keyboard.
Also, as I write this review I took off the screen protector and it COMPLETELY destroyed the screen. In the last image, you can see a small sliver of light on the screen that is ALL that is left of the screen. dropping my review down from 2 to 1 star because wow.
I haven't reached out for support or tried pursuing the warranty yet but will soon. maybe if they can fix this I'll amend my review.
