I was very skeptical at first, but the company who sells these phones is legit - I did my research, cause I didn't want to purchase a phone that wouldn't work in the US. I bought this for my son who wants to start using apple products, so I got this older model to see how he would like it and ultimately and responsibly, he can get a new one.
Anyways, we are almost 5 months in and it still works great. Even though it is an older model, he is still able to get updates and can connect his airpods and other apple stuff. Set up was very easy. We set up the phone, bought a sim card and called his phone company to switch over. He was up and running in no time.
TL;DR - legit phones. Get a phone case, get a sim card and you are good to go!
