Okay, I understand you may be skeptical on buying this product. I was. I have bought a couple of refurbished items on Amazon, and everything has turned out to be well.

This product though I was skeptical because of the reviews and what some people have said; but I bought it anyways. Here is my honest feedback: It’s great! The keyboard works, screen shorts, camera, speakers, etc. Although, I will most likely have to get a battery replace because the battery only lasts 4-5 hours on a full charge.

The weight is very light, very easy to use and travel with. The size is great, and will fit perfectly in book bags, tote bags, etc.

Overall, the value for money is great, and worth it!

so far, so good. i just got my laptop and i guess when it comes to refurbished products, it is always hit or miss, because so far my laptop has been great. good as new. came in apple packaging with everything included. no scratches, marks or any sign of defect or use. turns on and stays on… super clear and just overall great! i have no complaints so far. i was skeptical after reading some reviews, but since there were more good than bad, i figured i’d take the chance and so far, i'm glad i did. i was in need of a new laptop, since having my macbook pro since like 2012/13. i also wanted something lighter and this one was within my budget! like i said, i guess it is just hit or miss, but i love mine. thank you!

I had to buy a laptop for a class I am taking. I chose a refurbished model because I did not want to contribute to the ongoing genocide in the Congo related to mining of materials for tech devices. Unfortunately, this MacBook screen has been shutting off without notice since the day I got it. Sometimes it stays on for the whole time I am using it, other times, it shuts off in the middle of my class despite being in use, having no apparent sleep or screen preferences that would indicate such behavior, and without any ability to turn back on. It seems to come back without any input from me. The computer itself is not dead, I can hear the buttons being pushed and it allows shutting off. It’s currently not turning back on despite having saved school work on it that I won’t be able to retrieve before sending it back to be returned. I am now in the position of having to scramble to buy another computer hastily so I can take an in-person exam next week. I’m not sure what is going on, but I am incredibly frustrated and have never had this issue with any other Mac computers I have owned.

i love this macbook! i was worried to order it as refurbished, but it did not disappoint in the slightest. looks brand new and acts brand new. It came with the charger and was packaged safely. I was worried about battery life, considered it was possibly used for awhile by another person, but the battery health said it was normal! I opened it and charged it and I got to set it up with my account, just like you would with a brand new apple macbook air from the apple store. Great product and would definitely recommend! price is totally reasonable and worth it!

I’ve gotten renewed devices before and it’s always gonna be a bit of a gamble, but this is pretty much as described (I chose excellent condition). It has a couple small scratches and a dent (pictured) and the battery does say “service recommended” (which doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong, just that the battery is on the older side) but for a four year old computer I’d say that isn’t a dealbreaker. I’ve been using this MacBook Air regularly for about a week and I’ve had no issues and the battery does hold while streaming video for about 3 - 4 hours. I haven’t attempted any gaming which I’d imagine is where you’d see lagging and battery drain, but for my needs it’s pretty much perfect (a sticker will easily cover the small scratches). Years ago I bought this same model new and it cost me well over $1,000, so for less than half that I’d say it’s worth it.

I’ve worked with MacBooks before and enjoyed them. I’m a frequent refurbished phone purchaser and have had no issues so I have refurbished laptops a try. It came really clean (no scratches or cracks, looking almost brand new). The only issue I’ve run into since I’ve had it (about 4 months now) is that the screen goes black randomly. The battery life will show its half-full and suddenly the screen blanks and I can’t get it back on until I plug it in. Not ideal when I’m not sure when/if it’ll happen and if I’m not near an outlet.

Horrible experience. I was super excited to buy my first MacBook, when it arrived i was super eager so i opened it and tried to turn it on. The screen would light up, then would go black and that's all it did. I tried for over an hour of different remedies to fix it but nothing changed. I'm extremely upset and disappointed because it says that it was tested when it really was not. Dont trust refurbished unless you know 100% that its fully functional. It's a lot of money to buy one in the first place and to spend that on something that doesn't work is very upsetting.
