Well they do offer a superior fit, outstanding sound and almost complete noise suppression. Best of all they are so very easy to Match Bluetooth and control platform controls. If you are interested look around carefully. They are beginning to show steep price discounts

These 'renewed' AirPods Max are basically new. As you can see in the pictures, the headphones are shipped in generic packaging with a generic lightning charging cable. There is zero evidence of wear on the headphones. I have zero regrets getting these 'renewed' at a significant discount to the original price. It also comes with the original AirPods Max Case, but it's absolute garbage, so I would opt for a 3rd party case.

The sound quality is fantastic for wireless headphones. Exceptionally clear for music, TV, or podcasts (almost no distortion). Great balance for sound for most of the sound frequency range. If you don't find the profile perfect, you can use an equalizer. These headphones are heavy, but that's due to the exceptional build quality. I have worn these for 6-8 hours without any discomfort--the headband helps with minimizing the impact of the weight. The Apple features are great--transparency mode feels like there's no headphones on, I can hear everything. Noise cancelling is amazing--almost completely blocks out a crying baby, fan, or conversations. Easy to switch between modes with button on the right can. The crown is great for sound controls and volume.

I highly recommend getting these renewed.

Mine came completely mint, no sign of any previous use whatsoever cosmetically and functionally.

I’m a professional mix engineer/system designer and I have to say, they’re solid headphones overall. They’re built like a tank, the low end is punchy, and the noise cancellation is exceptional. I also love how they seamlessly integrate with my other Apple products and has Find My functionality.

My only complaints are they’re a tad bright for my taste (though you may like that), “Spatial Audio” is just a gimmick, if you really get them moving there is a bit of distortion, and to a trained ear you can definitely hear compression artifacts as they do not support lossless codecs.

All that may sound harsh but those are trivial nitpicks when looking at the product as a whole. I would definitely recommend these to anyone willing to fork out the money for them.

Not a single damn thing worked on this 450$ pair of apple trash. The dropshippers didn’t even care to test it or clean it. Particles of the last person all over it with scratches everywhere. The product came in really condition, but it would stop working all of a sudden. For example it would connect but I would hear no sound and the lights on headphone’s wouldn’t work. Then a couple days later it would start working normal again, there was definitely a hardware issue, so if something is wrong make sure you return it and get a new pair.

Fantastic sound. Better than any other headphone ive used. I love the NC and transparent features.

The spatial sounds while watching a movie were rather mind blowing, isnt as impactful for music.

The cell convos are clear too, great microphone as well.

I dont have any problems with the case. I find it easy and compact.

Down sides:
expensive, refurbed saved money and worked great.

It Doesnt like sweat. I bought silicone covers for the ear pads and they definitely worked to waterproof. The pads are magnetic and pop out easy to air dry too when I dont have covers on; this feature is actually an advantage others dont have.

Refurb was only black and I wanted color. A cool glow in the dark cover worked great for me. Protective and bright, also changeable.

They are heavy which has only been an issue when laying down to listen, they want to slide back on me. I can make it work. I have no other fit issues they are otherwise staying put, easily adjusted and quite comfortable.

I love them! No regrets.
