The case fits the Galaxy A50 perfectly and is heavy duty enough to withstand a toddler screwing around with it. It has a thin screen protector that was very easy to adhere to the phone, a hard shell that goes over the back of the phone, and a more rubbery cover that goes over that which keeps the phone from being slippery. It took me a minute to figure out how to get it on but I couldn't be bothered to read the instructions so that would have helped. The cover is also raised pretty high on the front and on the back, which helps protect the camera and the screen. It also helps prevent unintended screen touches since this phone has an infinity screen and I found that I was accidentally hitting things when I was just holding the phone. The only downside is that all of the protection adds a little bulk to the phone, but I was looking for function over form so that it would withstand a tantruming toddler who has just been told to turn off his youtube videos, so it's exactly what I was looking for. And at this price point, it's a significant savings over the Otter Box.

This case does the job nicely. I like the built-in screen protector and it gave me no issues with touch commands. The case installed very easily and feels sturdy. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is that in my opinion, the material used for the black case itself could have been a little softer. The case feels a bit "stiff" in my hand and if I ever were to drop the phone, I feel that a slightly softer, more "giving" rubber would absorb a fall better than this hard material. Hope to never find out!

This is a great case! It took a long time for me to try this because I like to change my case often and I could see this is not a simple, swappable case. I've really liked though, once I finally tried it. It provides a fairly thick cushion of protection, while still being extremely lightweight. It has a thick bezel, but does not interfere with using the edges of the screen at all. The buttons press easily and the surface has just a bit of texture so it's easy to hold, neither slick nor sticky. It came with a screen protector but I didn't both with it, the A50 seems to have a sturdy screen that isn't getting scratched.
