THE best screen protector
I’ve had iPhones for 15 years. I’ve never had a cracked screen even though I’ve dropped them more than a few times through the years because I’ve always had a screen protector and a case for protection. This week I dropped it between the seat and the console in my jeep. I couldn’t reach it or see it very well. I slid the seat forward and finally retrieved the phone. Then I saw the chipped area at the bottom of the protector and the cracks that spread from it. I thought it was the screen underneath that had cracked because I thought the chip was half on the protector and half on the screen underneath but no…the entire screen had been covered by the protector and the bumper on my case was flush against the edge of the protector so the only thing chipped was the protector. I removed the protector and the screen is perfect, not a scratch on it. I had always used the thin plastic screen protectors in the past. I’m so glad I bought the tempered glass one this time. Now to hunt down that second protector I stashed away! My 15 year record remains intact.

TLDR: This was perfect for my iPhone 13. It isn’t a 360 privacy screen, in theory someone could read it if they were right above or behind you but not when viewed from the left or right and barely visible from across a table.

Pros:
~ It can take a hit. In addition to privacy it offers good screen protection. Don’t ask me how, but something heavy with a fairly sharp corner dropped on my phone and the screen protector cracked in the impact area and showed only mild fractures from that point. When I took it off the only thing that was cracked was the screen protector.

~ it comes with 2 covers. Perfectly handy for freak situations like this

~ also comes with 2 covers for the camera lens which I never thought I might need but it makes sense if you don’t want that precious lens on this expensive phone to get scratched. As long as you put it on properly it doesn’t appear to impede the lens in any way.
~comes with plenty of stuff to clean off your phone wet and dry wipes

~ when I’ve purchased screen protectors from other companies in the past the best one came with a guide the size of your phone that snaps onto it. I wish I had one the first time because the protector didn’t quite align properly and because I had to pick it up a little it formed a bubble underneath that no matter what I couldn’t seal and so that corner of the screen required multiple taps to be responsive. So for this second replacement I just used the snap on piece for my clear phone case as the guide and this application is so much cleaner. No bubbles, no responsivity issues.

I’ve had iPhones for 15 years. I’ve never had a cracked screen even though I’ve dropped them more than a few times through the years because I’ve always had a screen protector and a case for protection. This week I dropped it between the seat and the console in my jeep. I couldn’t reach it or see it very well. I slid the seat forward and finally retrieved the phone. Then I saw the chipped area at the bottom of the protector and the cracks that spread from it. I thought it was the screen underneath that had cracked because I thought the chip was half on the protector and half on the screen underneath but no…the entire screen had been covered by the protector and the bumper on my case was flush against the edge of the protector so the only thing chipped was the protector. I removed the protector and the screen is perfect, not a scratch on it. I had always used the thin plastic screen protectors in the past. I’m so glad I bought the tempered glass one this time. Now to hunt down that second protector I stashed away! My 15 year record remains intact.

We really love these screen protectors. We have purchased several different sizes for all of our phones. If you aren’t too hard on your phone they will last. They are easy to install. If you do it right there are hardly any bubbles. We haven’t had one come off on accident yet. The one on my phone has been for 6 months or longer. I just developed a hairline crack (totally my fault) I’m still not going to replace it yet. My wife and kids tell me how people think their screen brightness is down. You really get a sense for who is creeping over your shoulder when you have one of these protectors on you phone. One negative is that the wipes and installation materials are useless. They are dry or missing. It is not a big enough deal for a negative review. Well worth the money to protect your phone. The other negative is fingerprints. I am constantly wiping my phone down because of all the fingerprints. I am not sure if there is anything that can be done about that.

I liked how easy it was to install and how clear the instructions are. The privacy glass works as well as expected. However, to eliminate potential air pockets when initially applying the glass, I'm surprised they didn't recommend using a stiff flat edge like a credit card. It also came with a positioning guide which was not clear on how to use it. At the end of everything the privacy glass works well as indicated.

I want to start off saying if you want a very pixelated low res screen, this is the way to go. During both installations the screen peered off to the right, causing the adhesive to unstick and me having to take it back off and quickly put it on again just for air bubbles and and magic debris to appear under the screen. I did my best to make the air bubbles go away but then I noticed this reddish debris somehow get under the screen, so in a quick process I take off the screen to get rid of it and put it back on, keep in mind I’m wearing (clean) vinyl gloves and yet this debris appears yet again? So I take it off and decide to put on the next one, doing the process of wiping it down with both the wet and dry pads, and putting it on and what do you know, I was using both hands and both fingers on all the top right, bottom right, bottom left, and the top left and it still peers off to the right, causing the adhesive to come off and having to quickly put it back on again and guess what, THE MAGIC DEBRIS COMES AGAIN… To end this off, I really couldn’t stress enough over the pixelation of this screen protector, it made me drop from 4K to like 700-900p. So would I recommend this, if your don’t mind pixelated af screens and if your clumsy like me, I do not. As for closure, I am gonna use the product, tho this magic debris is bugging me.
