Use the kit in the package to clean the screen before placing the screen protector. If there are bubbles,try to gently press the bubbles with your finger or with a ruler,but the screen surface needs a thin cloth pad to avoid scratching the protector.

Update 05/09/24 - The halo/bubble disappeared, so bumping this from 3 stars to 4 stars. So maybe time is just required for any imperfections to disappear.Old reviewThis product a bit frustrating. The first one I got had a halo effect on the 2 protectors. I ordered a replacement and this one just installed has a halo/bubble.I have tried, with all my strength, just short of superhuman strength, to smooth this defect out, but to no avail. The last privacy screen protector I had did not have this problem (unfortunately it is no longer being sold).In terms of privacy, it does not provide 360 privacy but I appreciate the level of privacy it provides. It fits the iPhone 13 well, so no issues with that. I cannot attest to its strength as thankfully, my phone has not fallen.I guess I'll just have to leave with this minor annoyance till I can find a better product.

This is my first try at using a secure, non visible to others, screen protector. It came packaged in a very nice box with 2 protectors. Instructions were very clear and only took 5 minutes or so to install. It works exactly as described and is a good value for price. It took awhile to get used to the fact that no one can see my screen from the side, as I’m used to sharing with friends if we’re side by side. Now I have to put the phone right in front of their face, but I’m sure no strangers will be reading over my shoulder when I don’t want them to do so.

Update: Started to come off at top right corner. Replaced with 2nd screen saver now, about 10 weeks after the original. Plus I have a good drop proof case which protects the edges, so it really shouldn’t be coming off. I don’t play games on my phone and am not on my phone for hours each day.

Pros: This tinted privacy screen does a SUPER job! Like others say, it’s not 100% foolproof, but for the price it is worth it! If you’re needing more privacy, maybe consider what you’re viewing on your phone! You do need to hold your phone at an angle toward you, and away from the person you’re trying to keep from peeking at your phone screen. You will be pleased with the amount of privacy this provides, but still makes screen visible and readable for the user.
Phone Used: For reference I got this for an iPhone 13 Pro.
Installation:
It installed easily with no bubbles after a couple of easy adjustments. It was easy to line up and stick on, even for a guy over 50! Plus it didn’t prematurely try to attach itself or cling to the phone like some screen protectors do.
Privacy and Darkness:
It is somewhat DARK, but I just turned my screen brightness up a little and it’s fine.
(My eyes aren’t the best, but I can still see the screen clearly.) The protector is very clear, shiny, and seems sturdy and well made.
Value, Price and Longevity:
This was a reasonable price for two screen protectors. Most decent screen protectors usually last 6 to 8 months before starting to separate from the edges. I will update this review if this protector doesn’t last at least 8 months. At less than .30 cents a month per protector, it’s a good value and well worth it. (That’s if you pay $7 for two protectors.) I do like the privacy because I think people can be nosy, including your friends and relatives, even if they didn’t start out being nosy on purpose. These probably aren’t the cheapest but they are a good value and the “selfie” camera is NOT blocked like it is on some of these privacy protectors. (Read other reviews for other brands if you wish and you’ll see that not all privacy screen protectors are equal) The size works great if you use any type of case. It’s not too small like one review stated. The two pack saves you from having to hope they still have this brand to reorder in a year or so, and provides you with a backup if yours starts peeling away like mine did. So if they last 10 weeks, you’ll need at least four per year. My original would have lasted a little longer but I don’t like the look of a peeling screen cover.
Down from 5 to 4 stars only because I don’t have a comparison screen protector. Would maybe be 3 stars if I had a good comparison.

Installation was easy enough, and off-angle privacy is very good. Does seem to darken the screen a little bit, my brightness setting has to be higher. My first impression was good, but it fell off a 3' table and cracked the first time it hit the ground, so if you're looking for something to protect your screen as well then you might look somewhere else unless you want to replace this anytime it falls.

Privacy screen works as described, but be mindful that (obviously) the higher the brightness on your phone, the less effective the privacy effect it!
