My house is going through a remodel so a working air purifier is a must. The filter definitely picks up lots of things that are not visible, as when the red light started flashing, it was filthy! I tried to wash the pet filter, following the directions in the video provided by the manufacturer. Unfortunately, the filter does not get nearly close to clean and I worry about whether it would actually filter as a new one did. Therefore, I purchased another new filter to replace the "washable pet filter" one. I still got this same type of filter, as I can't find one that is not "washable/reusable" but I know that this works.

Let’s be honest, it’s hard to know if an air filter is working. I didn’t do an air quality test before using the filter and I am not going to do one now, but I do know that it does improve the smell. When you have pets, there’s an odor and this filter really does remove that order. I also like the different settings high, medium and low. the changing light is fun. I’ve already ordered the replacement filter. Been very happy with this unit.

WE have yet to use the new filter, one came with the Afloia air purifier. They look similiar and the one that came with the Alfoia air purifier is exactly like the extra washable pet one that we ordered. If it works like the original one, I have no qualms. I could not have asked for a better purifier.
