Do not use the name of your provider such as Verizon when you make the claim. You must use the name Asurion if you buy the policy on Amazon.

if your having issues with a "manufacturers warranty still providing coverage". call them instead. They should be able to help you skirt around it, and if not they can tell you how long said warranty lasts until.
