They owned up to the problem and took care of. Only complaint was the amount of documentation they required to be filled out. Numerous documents on numerous days. Additionally, if your issue was your only cell phone that had failed you need to forward pictures of the device which would have been very hard to do so. Assuming many of the insurance claims hover around a cell phone they need to come up with another solution. Other than that they were fair and rather responsive.
I'm disabled and had a fall down some stairs and crushed my phone along with parts of my body. So I wasn't in the mood to get jerk around by your typical insurance bull. I called these guys they filled out the claim for me and in less than 10 days I had a check for what I paid for my phone, So with that I bought a new one along with this warranty to cover my new one. Now you do have to pay like 300 bucks for a warranty to cover a $1300 phone and I think it was $129 plus tax deductible but still thats $450 the get a new $1300 phone well there was tax but lets face it with this warranty I saved over 700 bucks so I'm pretty happy
I bought the OnePlus open and this plan a few months ago. The screen stopped working out of nowhere. I logged in to start my claim, and at the end of it, it gets to a landing page directing me to deal with oneplus directly as its "still under warranty." The website link to OnePlus goes nowhere but to a "oneplus.net" website (doesn't exist). A. This is a scam. B. If it was not a scam, the least they can do is help you file the claim. I paid for the Asurian protection plan, not the "Oh I will cover you in the event the manufacturer doesn't and you exhaust all options, good luck plan." NEVER BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN
Phone broke, I was worried because you know how insurance can be. Shouldn't have worried, they sent me paid shipping label, I sent in my phone, half a week later they reimbursed the whole price of my phone. No hassle at all. 5 Stars, will be using them again.
ok so far this company has provided execelent customer service so far.. now im just waiting for the check to come in... sadly they couldnt fix my phone buy they are sending me the $$ they promise in their product.. hands down so far im having a great experience with asurion. please can you contact me on when i will receive the check?
Haven't needed to use this insurance policy on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra. However, after the initial charge there are no additional fees which is great on the wallet! It's like keeping flashlights handy, or extra canned goods, those small assurances help you feel safe. That's why paying for the insurance is worth each and every penny to me. Then, and only then, can I know that in my back pocket I carry not only my phone but also a golden ticket!! Phew, I can breathe easy, I'm covered against cracks and breaks as well as for any damage caused through normal use. Perfection!
I ordered a phone and the addition protection plan together for a friend, she received the phone but not the plan. I had to call assurion and jump through countless hoops to get it all straightened out. The assurion associate was terribly uninformed on the entire everything. She didn’t believe the phone was a Galaxy S24 Ultra Plus. Unexpectantly disappointing.
