I held off on writing a review until I could confirm that the phone is compatible with my carrier and free of defects or issues. I’m located in the King County area of Washington, USA, and use T-Mobile as my service provider. I’ve been using the phone for approximately a month without encountering any problems.
The phone appealed to me due to its impressive hardware features, the long support life of Samsung Galaxy phones, its excellent battery life, and its high-quality camera. It was also $100-$150 less expensive than the same model intended for the US market.

So far, I haven’t experienced any signal issues, although there are some areas where the signal is weaker. This is because the phone isn’t designed for the US market and doesn’t support certain 5G frequencies. However, it does support all the major LTE frequencies for T-Mobile in Seattle area.
My advice to potential buyers is to verify the frequencies supported by their carrier before purchasing the phone. Aside from that, I believe this phone offers the best value for money on the market at the moment.

Be sure to check it's compatible with your carrier. THIS MAY NOT WORK WITH YOUR CARRIER. Works perfectly well with my USA t-mobile.

I bought partly because I trust Samsung products and for it's 256 internal storage. This is an international version and is not covered by warranty in the US hence its lower price. I felt it worth the risk.

I've only had it a week but have it just about set the up the way I like it.

So far no complaints and no regrets.

3 weeks on and it just updated to android 14. Really enjoying this phone.

Had it now a couple of months and no problems. Particularly like the finger print reader.

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!!
Bought the phone in August; it malfunctioned in November. Calling customer service, they tried their best to make life difficult. They requested that I bring the phone to a service center (an hour's drive away). After some back and forth, they finally sent a shipping label. They could have done a swap so I am not out of phone. Now they tell me that my phone is "out of warranty" because it is an "international" version.

It is still a Samsung product, and obviously, Samsung does not stand by its product. Buy from an honest manufacturer instead!

Had an older LG which should have been replaced sooner before purchasing the Galaxy A54. Main drivers for the purchase were 256 gb internal storage, 8 gb of memory, pricing & being from Samsung. Software was relatively quick to pick-up on after a few utube videos on tips & tricks. Not saying that there isn't more to learn (want to use the Samsung tablet & TV in conjunction with the phone), but have most of what I need from a cell phone set-up after a couple of weeks. No issues with calls, texts, emails, apps or websites with my T-mobile service on this unlocked cell so far. Camera appears to be fine, but have not used it too much yet. My understanding is android o/s updates should be able to operate fine after the planned 2027 update, I'm good with that.

Good replacement for Samsung phone. The dual Sim feature is great to have for international travel. The slot though forces you to choose between a second Sim or expandable storage. This seems like a flaw in the Samsung design as their previous phones allowed for both Sims and an SD card.
Some people may not like the fact it doesnt have inductive Qi charging. It however has USBC to USBC charging that is far superior in charging time.

The cameras, front and back, are absolutely perfect and a huge upgrade over previous models. The stock Samsung phot editors have been improved but l 3rd party apps still have the edge for editing photos.

The 5G antennas are expanded for both US and international 5G. Cell reception is good but as usual it is poor in the rain.

This phone is being used on the USMobile network and works great.

Lots junk apps from Samsung on this phone. Just can't delete them so how. But you can disable them in the setting. Facial recognition, 1 out of 10; barely works. Fingerprint reader 1 out of 10 works. Just push the power button is faster to turn the phone on from black screen. I've had 3 Samsung phones in the last 5 years. The A54 is the worst so far. It is insensitive to fingers and facial recognitions, screen is slow to respond to touch (1-2 seconds delay after touched) , and not as intuitive (1-2 seconds slow to react once tab the apps) as my old Samsung Galaxy10e. The only thing good about the A54 is the larger screen and slightly improved camera at night shots.
