Lace holes keep ripping
I love these trainers they're incredibly comfortable and I've been buying them for years however the last two or three pairs that I've bought the holes where the laces go through have ripped within two weeks and then they aren't tight enough across my feet because the holes are too big and I can't get the laces tight enough I've sent them back twice through Amazon now I think it must be a design fault because I've had about 15 pairs of FitFlops over the years and this has never happened before it's just started happening recently so maybe they've changed the manufacturer and are now using cheaper materials I hope they go back to their usual standard soon

I really struggle with finding comfortable shoes due to a high instep and weak ankles thanks to childhood talipes! I have bought soooo many different trainers over the years but often find a lot of them either rub until I blister, make my calves ache like crazy or hurt my feet after just a few hours. THESE, however, I bought on recommendation from my midwife before I went to Venice for the weekend at 17 weeks pregnant and I can safely say they are AMAZING! Super comfortable from the moment I put them on! No rubbing, no pinching and no need to ‘break them in’. They literally moulded to my foot instantly and we’re comfortable through walking 15,000 steps a day sightseeing and they look so good too. I wore them with dresses, jeans and skirts day and night and they were perfect. PLUS, they are realllllly lightweight so great for packing light too 👍🏻

Can honestly say these were the best investment I’ve made in a long time. I’m considering buying several more colours to see me through all occasions!

If you’re on the fence, just give them a go, you won’t be disappointed!

Have only tried these so far in the house but when they arrived I smelt them (i have a habit of smelling for leather) and they don't smell of leather at all. They smell quite strongly of plastic. This might just be the coating so we'll see how they wear in. I have wide feet and it's difficult for me to find shoes to fit properly without hurting my toes. These seem fairly wide fitting and they feel comfortable and light.
