I bought the wrong thing. My wife told me to get one that clips on my daughters bed for reading. But this is so steady and adjustable, it worked fine. It doesn't have to go round your neck at all.

As for the light, it's perfect. Holding down the button will dim it to whatever level you need and the yellow light is great for bedtime reading.

My daughter doesn't turn off any lights.. Ever. Battery on this is more than enough, despite being left on regularly. Charging via USB C is ideal.

I would totally recommend this as a normal book reading light. Great product

The single long light in place of my previous that had two small lights is far better to light the area I am working on ( I mainly knit).
