Now, I've got a decent pair of noise-cancelling headphones at home, but I wanted something more portable. Something I could chuck in my bag and not worry about losing on the train, you see?
These Ankers fit the bill perfectly. They're cracking value for money – I couldn't believe the price when I saw it! The charging case is nice and compact, keeps the headphones juiced up for ages, and they're dead easy to use. Just a double tap, like with my over-ears, pauses playback, which is a right doddle. The touch controls aren't perfect, mind you – a bit temperamental at times – but you can't have everything, eh?
Comfort-wise, they're spot on. Sit snugly in your ears, and the sound quality is absolutely bang on for what I need them for. Streaming shows on my phone, audiobooks while I'm out doing chores or in the gym. Let's be honest though, the sound for music isn't the best. It's alright, but it won't blow you away. If you're a music lover who prioritizes pristine audio quality, these probably aren't the ideal choice.
I actually bought these alongside another pair, some Aptkdoes that were a bit pricier. Despite the better sound of the Aptkdoes I keep finding myself reaching for the Ankers. They're just so darn convenient and simple.
So, all in all, if you're after a reliable, portable pair of wireless earbuds that won't break the bank, and you prioritize convenience over audiophile-level sound, the Anker Soundcore P20i are well worth a look. They might not be top of the range for music, but for everyday use, they're just the ticket.
