I finally decided to buy a Ring doorbell as the price was right with discounts on this Doorbell Plus, bundled with the Chime Pro.
I found this extremely easy to set up using the instructions and the Ring App. My network signal strength has been excellent throughout, as has been performance and battery life. I've bought an extra battery pack so I always have a fully charged one to go.
I like the head-to-toe view on the wide angle lens, I also have HDR and colour night view enabled and the video quality is excellent.
The Ring App is also very easy to use, lots of options for configuring your perfect set up. It's easy to see past events on the time line, and everything is stored in the cloud for a reasonable monthly fee.
The Chime Pro is also a very good product, easy to set up and the volume is easily loud enough.
I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

Amason delivery as expected on time. Price and product good. We got a "free" mains chimer for the same price as "off the shelf" for just the camera bell at local national diy stores. Pics show what you get out of the box, close ups of main items, camera bell installed and a screen grab on mobile. After 2 weeks we bought a 2nd battery.We did not instal with mains power. There is a supplied special cable for that. We did use the black backplate wedge to angle the camera. Any cables go through the large circular hole in the black backplate wedge. All the screws come in different bags and there was a spare of each. The important screw is the one used to secure the cover to the battery. Do not lose this and it requires the use of the supplied blue Allan Key style screwdriver for this purpose. So dont lose the screwdriver. The orange cable charges the battery and this needs to be charged up straight away as it may take time. 2 lights indicate its status. The black wedge if used screws to your wall with supplied screws and plugs. The Camera unit screws to the wedge using different supplied screws. The chime bell comes with a choice of mains adapters. It just plugs into a 13amp socket. Our chime is in the kitchen away from the wifi and camera and works well.The instructions could be improved; I feel this is true of most products these days. I hope the above helps. There is a QR code and a website that needs registering. You need to link the unit and the chime to your wifi and your mobile. Straight forward but a lot of stuff. For a week or two you get free video recording. After that there is a fee per month. We have not done that,.....yet. It implies it is possible to link the unit to a number of mobiles.Once set up and installed it was great. I received messages to my mobile of anyone visiting or passing the door. This included the fox and now the traffic or pedestrians. Now the initial free video recording has finished the camera seems more sensitive and I receive many messages all are too late to see if anyone was at the door. So this needs sorting, prob in settings, more faf.However it does help with security, whether it is on, working, recording or not. It does make the casual person think they are being watched. A friends place has one and they were out. On pressing the bell I spoke to them at work, neat. It is annoying to get "false" activations. If you have a lot of visitors, get a 2nd battery or charge overnight. I am considering more security cameras and would like a bell linked into them. The Ring does for now and I will look into the monthly fee. Happy enough for now. Hope this helps.
