Bought to replace an expensive Google case which discovered and went loose round the switches.
Nice dark green, fits well, button covers well-designed. Good tactile surface in the hand.
I've used Spigen cases before and found them very durable.

Good protection and feel but marks the case

Quite like the protection and general feel but it puts marks onto the plastic phone casing which I haven't managed to rub off yet. I think they are permanent. Shame. Case has been on for around 8 months.

For a year, I've had an official Pixel 6a case. But it became discoloured and baggy after only a few months. So, a waste of money.

This case was half the price, fits perfectly, is very grippy, is a nicer colour (midnight green) and hopefully will last considerably longer.

This is a great looking case, really tight fit (which is what you want). Buttons are easily pressable.

I suspect it's not going to let you drop your phone off the top of a tall building and for it to survive, but for everyday bumps and knocks, it fits the bill.

The edge of the case is raised considerably above the screen, which is a blessing and a curse. A blessing, because it offers the screen considerable protection against drops. However when using modern gestures on Android, I find myself scraping my finger constantly on this raised edge, which isn't particularly comfortable.

The pictures don't do justice to the colour, it's a really great shade of dark green.

I find myself torn by this and the leather Bellroy case (I have both). The Bellroy is more comfortable in the hand, and remarkably feels less bulky (probably due to the curved edges of the case). However the buttons on the Spigen are far more user friendly (and it arguably looks better than the Bellroy).

I'm the kind of person who prefers not to use a case (until the inevitable of course) as I like the thin feel of the phone and the ease of use so my main complaint here is that this case is not what I'd consider thin and I definitely got the wrong impression.

Having said that, it's probably my ONLY complaint. The texture is grippy but smooth and pleasant, the button cutouts are clicky and tactical. It's all just perfectly executed I must say. Looks like spigen got it's name out there for a reason.

I took the liberty of showing thickness photos etc so take a look if you're interested.

I recently bought a thinner case (because I'm only gonna add more protection to my phone if it adds minimal thickness and bulk) and it's poorly made -or designed. Buttons aren't clicky on that one and the material and construction is quite obviously lower cost and effort.

All in all, it may not be a super slim case but it's also a fair balance of comfort and protection and I can highly recommend it if that's what you want.

As the attached photos will illustrate...

1) The case fits my 7a perfectly. It's tight and the raised bezel
around the front edge of the phone is in no way impeding
swiping while still providing the screen enough protection
against getting scratched laying flat on a table, for instance.
It really feels like it's just a part of the phone itself.

2) There is a pattern to the surface of the case but it's very
fine. The more pronounced pattern on the sides provides
extra grip.

3) The grip isn't the strongest, like rubber, but the case
provides enough of it for the phone to not slip out of your
hands. Besides, you don't want your case to have too much
resistance, which is especially important when putting it in
and taking it out of your jeans pockets, for instance.

4) There are no ugly logos plastered all over the outside of
the thing, which is always good...with any product.
The only logo is the one on the left side of the case but it's
tiny and barely noticeable.

5) The color and texture are perfect - matte black in my case.
It goes nicely with the dark gray color of the camera strip at
the back of the phone (my 7a is the charcoal variant).

6) The camera strip isn't sticking out almost at all, making
it look like the strip is seamlessly integrated into the back
panel of the phone...which is actually the only thing I don't
like about the Pixel line. This case mitigates that little
aesthetic dislike of mine.
There is maybe a 0.5mm raise where the camera strip is, but
it's really negligible.
