The XBOX ONE Series S is not to be confused with XBOX ONE S. I ordered the SERIES S and I love the size but I did not research this machine well enough. I thought it would be a step up from Xbox One S but it was deceiving. As I opened the carton a looked at it I first noticed that it had no disc slot but I thought that perhaps the vent would open and the disc went in there. I looked at the instructions such as they are and found that I first needed to download Xbox on Google play. There I found the pointers on how to launch my console. Having carried out the boring part I then sat and watched for an hour my current game of NMS load in. STOP! Where do I put in a game if I don't want to play NMS? I don't! I realised then that it is a DIGITAL MACHINE and if I want to play one of my games I would have to buy it again in digital form, oh dear, I realised then that this console is not for me nor for anyone else who likes to keep a game library, anyway the console finished loading my game of NMS only to come up with a message asking if I owned the game and other questions and it was at that precise moment when I decided to let Microsoft have their silly little console back and order a XBOX ONE S which I knew would bring home the results I needed. It arrives today, Whoopee!! The choice is yours of course but the two games sound too much the same name wise sobe careful when you order!
