Case feels solid but not sure if it's genuine leather. The material could have been lil softer. Maybe after a while it will soften a bit. Need lil pressure while removing iPod from the case. One thing I genuinely not like about the product is that, it has button on clip instead of magnet which would make 4 star rating. Hope they amend these flaws.

This item is very good. I read most of the reviews prior to ordering and desided to take a chance and I am please I did. My headphone jack is right angled and this helps when opening the flap with the headphones attached. I can see how stright jacks might obstruct the flap opening but this could ease with time as the leather softens and wears a little. Importantly, the ipod is held very securly inside the case and won't slip out. The supplied screen protector is a high quality type and easy to apply. The popper stud is of a low profile type so is not obtrusive. In the centre of the back is a very low profile silver stud and this is where the belt clip attaches. This just pushes on and gives a very reasuring click and it clips into place. I have pulled on it to gauge the security of it and It seems very strong indeed. The clip freely rotates and there is a push tab to release it back off the case. The springed clip that goes over the belt has a tab on the end that prevents the it slipping off. All in all I am very confident in this product and it is of a high quality!!! well worth the price. I'm concidering ordering another and putting it away for the future.

That's the only reason for not giving it 5 stars though.
It is a very nice case and it fits perfectly. And it does look like leather even if it smells of plastic!
It comes with a well fitting screen protector and a belt clip but you don't have to use the clip and the stud for the clip lays flat to the case when not in use.
Obviously it makes the iPod Classic a bit bulkier but it is still pocketable and it gives the iPod Classic really good protection.
All the openings line up nicely.
For the money you can't complain.

Wonderful case! I can't believe it's only 15$! It's just as advertised and it's the kind of thing you could easily pay 40$ in store. J'avais commandé cette protection il y a environ 4 ans. Mon IPod Classic 160 giga de 2008 était tres bien protégé. G utilisé pendant près de 2 ans pendant 8 h par jour ( au travail ) mon iPod ainsi protégé dans la poche de ma salopette sortant l'ensemble plusieurs fois pour diverses raisons et au bout de 2 ans l'ensemble est toujours aussi intacte. Pas de craquement du cuir, pas de déchirure ou autre dégât sur ma protection, j'avais tres souvent les mains grasses par l'huile du taf en utilisant ma protection et pourtant celle-ci a tenu le coup dans le temps. Du coup j'en ai recommandé 2 , un pour mon iPod classic dernière génération ( celui-ci étant plus fin il est tout de même super bien protégé. Ne glisse pas hors de l'étui.) Puis l'autre pour mon conjoint qui cours avec son iPod classic. Voilà, moi je peux que conseiller cette protection tres adéquate pour votre Ipod Classic. Vrai ou faux cuir , je ne sais pas, mais de très bonne qualité.
