It looks different it feels different it is different. Before buying it showed it to friends they were like why do you always like these odd things, when I brought into work to help me set it up everyone was stopping by wanting to hold it touch it see what it could do, my mates brought in their old Motorola's & Nokias it was a real talking point and yes battery life brill charges quickly downloaded all my apps amazon ebay utube bus train apps dictionary's photos see quality in pics, signal great in London and Midlands & everywhere I've been. Yes it's american no issues at all just popped my Tesco SIM in transferred contacts & photos & apps. You can enlarge key pad, great to hear different sounds for texts ,& notifications not the standard ones that you hear on every bus or train. I love taking it out of my velvet pouch people do a double take - if I see another black square phone surely the standard designers have hit a wall c'mon get some new shapes.

i have been looking for a dumb phone for a long time now. this phone was my choice. it's great because it still has google, and apps i need like ring and banking apps yet you wouldn't play games on this phone or use it for mindless scrolling because it is too difficult with such a tiny screen! It's so simple to use and very durable! i have been washing mine in the sink! i prefer flip phones as you won't be able to butt dial anyone lol. however sometimes if you set the programmable side button it does press while in your pocket, i use it for the torch and when the button is pressed when i'm walking the phone heats us quickly because the torch has been on. this phone is great for those who want to simplify or dumb down there tech life but still have apps that are necessary in there daily lives. hence why i called it a dumbish phone. this phone has finally and definitely given my life back! if you have a phone/ social media/ game addiction like i did, you need this phone. i would rate it 5/5

Bought the phone to reduce my doom scrolling, hoping that it would free time. The phone is great. First off, for phone calls it is far clearer than the last two flagship smartphones I've had. Added bonus, it is still a smartphone so I could sync my contacts and calendar easily. I have added all the apps that I need day to day (including my online banking app) and, while the smartphone aspect is slow, it does the job. The combination of slower and small screen mean I only use it when I need to, giving me back the time previously lost but without much loss of convenience. Haven't used the camera properly yet so can't comment on it, but overall, this is a great phone, with smartphone convenience when you need it.

Wanted to purchase a robust phone without all the gadgets.
Really liked the appearance and feel of the phone, but it kept losing signal, the screen intermittently froze and the battery was dreadful.
Contacted CAT USA via webchat, who were very helpful and understanding, but the techie explained that the phone isn't marketed for the UK, so the phone was constantly searching for a signal, resulting in limited service and battery drain.
Contacted the seller twice, but they never responded, so went through Amazon Support, who were great, and eventually issued a refund.
As others have stated, be wary of purchasing, and be prepared for shocking battery life.

I bought this phone for a digital detox. I'm sick of social media and the way that info is so quick to hand. But as I use whatsapp and messenger I needed a phone to have that capability.

Good:-
The phone is hefty and feels quality.
I love the 'flip' cover and the old keypad button setup
It uses android and whatsapp
Despite other reviews the battery is good on standby although on use it does run down quickly

Bad:-
The touch screen is difficult to click accurately at times and the way that some pages present (eg with menu's on websites) mean that I have a tiny thin section to try to click where I can only see part of what I'm aiming for.

Parking.. I've been left frustrated a number of times because parking apps only partially work on this phone. On certain screens there is just no way to press enter. In the ever decreasing cashless society this has caused more than one gamble with not paying for parking.

Messanger:- I can receive messages, but there seems to be no way to reply.

Browsing:-
Don't bother.. it's about as good as those early colour screen phones with access to basic internet. Too small/slow and difficult to read/click to be useful for anything other than very basic checks.

Verdict:-
All in all I like the phone. I like the idea of a simpler life with less distraction. But in reality we just do not live in that world anymore. I've found myself picking up my now simless iPhone daily for checking opening times, sorting car tax or transferring money. I find I'm persevering with this phone but in todays world it just adds anxiety by a different flavour. In all likelihood I will return to my 6 year old iphone XR in the very near future.

This is a flip phone, with the added benefit of a touch screen, apps, and internet connection, as opposed to a proper smartphone which is a computer with phone capabilities as an afterthought.

On standby the battery takes about 2 and a half days to drain entirely from 100% to 0% (I live in a rural area so rely on wifi data/calling while at home). No bloatware, which was nice. Can't delete any of the preinstalled apps, but can disable most of the extras. Downloaded my work and banking apps without issues, tho couldn't get the Meijer shopping app (got a message saying my phone wouldnt support it) which is not a big deal.

This phone is not something you'd want if you're reliant on lots of apps and fast connection/loading. The touch screen is surprisingly responsive however, and even with my fat fingers I can type very precisely using the small screen keyboard. You can switch between the touchscreen keyboard and the button keys, which is a nice feature, and takes me back to high school.

The phone is sturdy, has nice weight, the camera is pretty nice, can expand memory with a micro sd card, and overall I'm very happy with it.

Pros - Cost, rugged, battery life, no bloatware, good flashlight and camera, good touchscreen

Cons - Some apps may not work, somewhat slow loading/reaction from apps, no 3.5mm jack (usb c addapter included)

Battery life hasn’t been an issue for me so far. I get 6 days on pure standby. With mild to moderate use purely for calls, 2 days is easy.

Ich habe wirklich lange überlegt welches Handy auf meine Ansprüche des Lebens angepasst ist und ich freue mich, dass das Handy bereits am Freitag geliefert wurde.
Alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Handy funktioniert mit SIM-Karte eigener Wahl und auch eine Menüführung in Deutsch ist verfügbar. Eine separate Speicherkarte war im Lieferumfang nicht vorhanden. Mit einer Speicherweiterung von 128GB ist genügend Speicherplatz für Google Apps auf dem Handy verfügbar. Der Akku ist wechselbar und hat ordentlich Ausdauer. Bisher laufen alle Installationen flüssig, beide Tastaturen sind nutzbar. Ich empfehle dieses Handy gerne weiter, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat mich angenehm überrascht. Alles in Einem:

Seit 22.04.2024 ca.13h hat das Handy kein Signal mehr zur SIM-Karte. Auch nach 4x auf Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen und manueller Eingabe der Zugangsdaten meines Mobilfunkanbieters registriert sich die SIM-Karte nicht ins Mobilfunknetz, auch mit den Apps gab es Probleme.

Der Vollständigkeit halber möchte ich hinzufügen, dass es bereits nach der Installation von Banking Apps, bei der Registrierung und Anmeldung zu Problemen kam, das Log-In Feld der Banking Apps war kaum mehr zu sehen und die Tastatur konnte ich zwar vom Touchscreen entfernen, somit aber auch das Feld, das ich normalerweise auf einem anderen Handy benutze - um die App mit meinen Zugangsdaten zu aktivieren.
