I had a similar but much older and larger mobile to this one, it came out of the Ark. My grandchildren who are now in their 20's decided that granddad needed a new phone so they clubbed together and bought me a smart phone which is very good but still large and heavy, it works well and I can go on the internet, play games and it's a personal assistant as well. However it's well over the top for me. I just want a mobile that is small, light in weight and that I can press the buttons with ease having large fingers and being able to set up my contacts with ease. A phone were I can say hello and goodbye no fuss. This mobile appears to be the one it's simple and does the job, straight forward ring tone but you can have tunes if you want. Volume is adjustable and it has a built in radio, I always wondered why people had mobile phones stuck to their ear all day long. I was able to take the micro sim card from the smart phone, put it into an adaptor and insert it into the TTfone. All works well, it's will be a matter of time to see if it can stay the course. At this price If I can get 1yr or more yrs of use out of this phone, I will be well satisfied.

Phone was well up to expectation, simple and easy to use, good size keys, clear display. However, the o2 PAYG sim card was way out of date and for a tariff that was no longer available. o2 kindly sent a replacement sim free of charge, but this turned out to be for a tariff with a £5 bundle that was of no use to me, this being a phone intended only for emergency contact on a very infrequent basis. We have no mobile signal at home, so no amount of free calls would be any good to me! o2 to the rescue again, but turns out that, without a bundle, their calls and texts are horrendously expensive, so at the moment I'm feeling a little hard done by. Buy the phone, by all means, but you might have to budget for a new sim and a different provider.

A cheap phone that was bought for a family member to use in case of emergency. It is very basic and lightweight.
I'm not sure this phone would survive being dropped at all. So unless you are the careful type, this may not be the phone for you.
The charger is horrible, but this can be worked around by using the usb to charge with a laptop. The battery is not long lasting.
Despite the issues mentioned, it does work and has a loud ringtone which is great for anyone with hearing difficulties. The buttons are larger than many other phones and it is relatively easy to use.
