I have always liked Skechers and have worn them for years. I recently suffered an ankle injury and the physiotherapist suggested that I should wear Skechers. When I said I already wear them, she commented that I should wear them more! So I have had to give shoes a rest for a while and wear them all the time - luckily I have a few pairs! It is amazing how much support they give my ankle as opposed to wearing shoes.
Ankle injury aside, I would have still have bought these as I was looking for a black pair that were not as “wintry“ as my other black pair of Skechers. I really like the style of these as they look equally as good with jeans, trousers, crops, skirts and dresses. The main thing that sets them apart from other brands though is the comfort which is second to none. There is no breaking in, when you get the right size you just put them on and can forget they are new, apart from the bouncy footbed which is like walking on air. I have had this style before, in a different colour, so I knew I needed to go down half a size for a good fit. Skechers sizing can be a bit random but on the whole you always need to go down, but it could be anything between half a size to two sizes. My whole family love to wear this brand for both the comfort and the style. and the style.
They are more expensive than a lot of trainers but having said that, they last so much longer so the value for money is good in the end. I have found that it is much cheaper to buy them from Amazon than it is to buy them from a Skechers store, but I have been known to go in and try them on in the store first, and then see if I can get them from Amazon, and quite often there is a big difference in the price. I definitely recommend these to anyone who wants to get a super comfortable pair of trainers, but I should warn you that once you have bought your first pair of Skechers it won’t be your last!
