The most impressive thing about the X1s is their sound quality. The combination of hardware and software built into the earbuds seems to give it amazing clarity in the high-end sounds as well as deep and tight low-end bass. When listening to familiar music I hear sounds and instruments I have never heard before using other earphones. The active noise cancelling feature is very good too. I use earphones on the train a lot, and this pair cancels out background noise and the noise of the train movement and crowds very well. I was also impressed with its ability to block out some more high-frequency sounds like people talking. I have even used it on a flight with the ANC on and music off - just to block out the background sounds so I can sleep more easily, and it really does work. Switching to transparency mode to hear your surroundings is super-easy too, and seems to amplify the external sounds almost giving better than natural hearing!
I love the charging case the X1 comes with. It has a digital display of the remaining battery status and there is a beautiful indicator light on the outside of the case that changes behaviour according to the charge status etc. The case and earphones can be charged via USB-C fast charging or wirelessly which is really convenient. The battery endurance is great too. The earbuds are also IPX6 rated for water resistance meaning I don't worry about getting caught out in the rain with them on.
The TOZO EQ app is a really nice extra feature which I started using recently. I found I can achieve the perfect sound for my preferences by slightly increasing the lowest and highest end frequencies to give the sound as much oomph as I like.
Overall, an amazing set of earphones with features and performance you would only really expect to see in far more expensive products.
I bought the TOZO Golden X1 earphones after finding my AirPods Pro ear-tips didn't fit my ears well enough to provide the tight low-end bass that I was hoping for. The AirPods Pros only come with 4 sizes of silicone ear-tips compared with the 6 sizes the X1s come with. I can happily confirm the X1s fit my ears perfectly providing amazing sound quality, bass and isolation that the AirPods could never do for me. The fact that they cost more than £100 less is an amazing bonus and means I am really happy with my purchase.
