The watch looks nice and it's easy to customise and navigate the functions, but it's disappointing in many respects. The step counter, pulse meter, activity tracker and basic fitness functions all work fine. The screen is crisp, bright and bold, but the payoff is a pretty poor battery life. A 100% charge is depleted in about 35 hours with normal use (without using the passive display), and drains quicker if you use the apps frequently. The blood pressure monitoring does not work when paired with anything other than a Samsung phone which, had I known, would have put me off buying it. The touch screen is set off by touching it with your bare arms if you fold them, which drives me up the wall because it can result in changing the watch face or some other unwanted change. The display does not always wake up when you look at the watch, and you have to wiggle your wrist or press a button. And on the other extreme, it goes to sleep too quickly when you're using the stopwatch so it's not much good for paying close attention to the time! I've not used other smart watch brands so I don't know if it's any better or worse, but this will probably be the last Samsung smart watch I buy. Too much of a faff.
