This is a killer phone for the price I got it at (£660). But at full price, I'd be a little conflicted.

It's super fast, thanks to the snappy processor, and has a very nice camera. Other phone do better in the selfie department but on the rear-camera, with the recent software updates OPlus has made, the "Hasselblad" is a little more than a simple logo slapped on the back. Still not what they hyped but pretty nice.

I'm loving the XPAN mode and the photos are extremely crisp, not over saturated, and overall very nice.

I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S10 and even from that, there are some Samsung features I sorely miss. TL;DR - Mostly gaming related.

1. There's no customisable quick access app tab that Samsung has. It literally holds all my frequent apps perfectly which I can swipe to bring up on the side of my home screen.

2. Game launcher settings. In Samsung's, I could mute "Game Sound", meaning all games would be muted, at any time. No having to go into settings for each individual game, which you can only do from the home page of the game anyway. With muting game sound, I could do it at any time and play my own music or podcasts over it etc. This is REALLY needed.

3. Screen lock for gaming. It would dim the screen and touch lock it while the game kept running at a lower FPS in the back so conserve battery.

- OnePlus has it's own game launcher so these features are definitely ones it could implement.

3. Secure Folder by Samsung is amazing. It's essentially a sandbox, any app can be put in there, and it will have it's own secure version without hiding or removing the main app. This means you can have a second camera, gallery, files, folders, broswer, games WHATEVER inside there, secure locked. Allows for simple, yet effective sandbox cloning or securely keeping files safe, without have multiple apps for different things. The closest thing functionality wise would be apps which clone your entire phone, but it kills your battery. Secure Folder doesn't. It's a patented Samsung tech though so I don't expect OP to have anything soon.
