I have an older but nice TV in the house which is not a smart TV. It’s great until you want to watch channels such as BBC iPlayer/ ITVX etc.in that room. This fire stick has transformed this TV as I can now watch series on these channels when I want to. Even got YouTube and Audible, plus loads of others. Nice little remote with volume & on/off too. The fire stick (lite) I originally looked at had a basic remote control with no volume controls, so this next one up is great. Can also use the Alexa button for voice control. Well worth the money, cheaper than buying a new Smart TV. Easy set up & easy to use. I ticked the box when purchasing to link the device to my Amazon account to simplify set up and this really made it easy. Definitely recommend.
