I will start by saying my review may be a little bit biased as I am a BIG Samsung fan when it comes to mobiles and this phone reinforces the reasons why but I will try my very best to give an unbiased review.

I have had the phone for just over a week now and can't say that I have tested it out to the max but based on my previous phones being Samsung. finding my way around was quite simple.

First impressions when I removed the Amazon packaging was the actual Samsung packaging which was extremely sturdy, stylish and well fitting around the contents and although I know most people won't care about the packaging I just wanted to point out that it means it's well protected so you should have no problems due to damage in transit.

Opening the box you find the phone laid out in its open position and sitting there eagerly awaiting to be picked up and explored.

At this point I should point out that I have needed to replace my old Samsung Galaxy S9 for quite some time but have always been reluctant due to my world being stored on my old phone. Alexa, Internet banking, Blink security cameras to name just a few and was worried about how long it would take to swap everything from one phone to another, but I needn't have worried as there's an app for that too.

From memory it took about 30 minutes to swap all apps from one phone to the other and the only updates I had to do manually was confirming passwords and the biometric security.

The phone itself, although not the latest model as at the time of writing this review the Z fold 3 has been upgraded to the Z fold 4 but I didn't think the additional £600 required was necessary for my needs but that's your choice to make.

I won't go into too much detail about what it can and can't do as there are plenty of YouTube reviews for that if you wish to check them out for yourself but I just want to summarised my thoughts here. with the positives and negatives (If there really are any negatives) here.

Pluses

The quality and build of this phone are excellent,

The display size when you open up the phone is amazing as it's almost like having a mini tablet.

The fact that you can mirror the larger screen to the smaller front screen is impressive.

The ease of set-up and transfer of apps, etc from old phone to new was perfectly simple to do.

The fact that there is a crease down the centre of the screen when you open the phone really does not impact on the screen at all and unless you caught it in a cretain light or ran your finger across it means
you don't even know it's there.

Negatives

The fact that there is no USB to wall plug adapter in the box so will have to buy separately though these days most people have them stored away somewhere.

This is not really a criticism but for me, holding the phone in its open position takes a while to get used to and quite often manage to close or open an app by accident whilst im holding it in my hand.

OK that's me done. I hope my comments above help you decide in choosing this phone for your next purchase. Trust me, you won't regret it
