My Wife's old A12 croaked on her a few days back so we decided to upgrade her and buy a more upmarket phone. This was a great price compared to what the A54 was new last year, and it even came with 256 gb upgraded RAM.
Setup was pretty straigtforward, but I do recommend using the enclosed USBC cable for transferring data off your old phone with Smartswitch. In our case, because of photos, the transfer would have taken 3.5 hours over wifi, verses less than 20 mins via cable.
The phone was obviously brand new and defaulted to English during the setup. Everything works great now and the camera is particularly good, it compares favourably (but without optical zoom) with my own S23 Ultra, in normal light. It works Ok in very low light, but obviously the S23 leaves it behind at this point in picture quality. Overall though, it has a great camera that is perfect for family photos and HD quality video. Oddly they have also included a dedicated macro lens, which is fine if you want to take a close up of an ant, but personally I would have preferred a 3 x optical zoom instead. But I guess they have to do something to differentiate it from the flagship S23 range.
