I purchased this Amazon Fire Tablet when the Black Friday offers were on so it was amazing value. My hubby already has the 2017 bigger version so I am super impressed to find the camera on this one so much sharper, more like my iPad’s camera. This little tablet is easy to use and great to pop into a pocket. I was super impressed with setting it up as it was done automatically using my Amazon details. I use it with its built in Alexa like an Echo but with the added benefits of a screen and of course any other internet related apps. It’s an android platform but uses amazons apps and not google but ‘silk’ which works just fine. I also listen to my music on it but it can be used for movies and iPlayers too and of course social media apps like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest etc. Although I use a bigger tablet normally, i don’t find it too small a screen with this 7” one. And best of all you can expand the memory enormously with a micro sd card. I purchased a 128GB one at the same time that’s so easy to install. The only negative I can think of is the ‘offers’ that came with mine, (not with offers wasn’t available when I purchased mine) it basically means Amazon puts up ideas for things it thinks you might be interested in to purchase, they are there at the start up, but easily swiped away. I think it’s an extra £10 to not have them and I believe you can choose this after purchase. Honestly a really good buy even at its full price especially compared to iPads or other well known tablets, it’s the perfect choice for on the go and if you want a bigger screen than your smart phone. The colours are really nice too. I’ve just discovered I can use it with its Bluetooth to play music through my Bluetooth stereo speakers for a better sound (not that it’s bad just a mono speaker).
