It’s our second kids echo dot as my younger son loves his! My eldest (10yr) has been enjoying the audio books via Amazon kids and listening to music. I like the explicit filter and how many features it has. The morning wake up alarm song is fun and helps get our mornings off to a good start.

Awesome design. Bought as a birthday present. Annoyingly went on sale a week later, in which the price halved. Very annoying. I would say wait and buy it on sale (when it’s under £30) as either way you get the same product and extras. It’s a bit of a joke at full price and seemed worth it with the year kids+. But after seeing it on offer for a period I feel ripped off. The kids+ seemed ok but had real difficulties getting it to play just radio stations. He likes the bedtime stories and setting alarms but doesn’t always let him listens to the music he wants. He wanted to explore different genres and was a struggle. Then it wouldn’t let him listen to country. Had to fiddle with settings a lot.
