I don't usually write reviews, but I can't recommend this watch enough. 5 stars from me.My Fitbit randomly stopped working after just over 1 year (the warranty is conveniently only 1 year). This was my 2nd Fitbit in just over 2 years that had stopped working, so I decided to look at what other watches were out there.I was shocked at how much cheaper this Samsung Fit3 watch was compared to others, but the reviews looked good, so I thought I would give it a try... and I'm so glad I did. For a fraction of the price of any equivalent Fitbit or Apple Watch, this Fit3 can do everything and more. It took me less than 1 minute to set it up and connect it to my phone. It tracks my steps, calories burned, heart rate, sleep etc. which was my main reason for getting it. But it's the other features that really set it apart...- Clock face: Small enough that it's comfortable to sleep in, but big enough that you can easily read your messages. I also LOVE that you can set a custom clock face with any picture.- WhatsApp notifications: Easily read your WhatsApp messages and you can even reply on your watch using a selection of pre-set responses (which you can edit) if you're feeling super lazy.- Alarms: You can easily view and cancel alarms that you have set for tomorrow, and when they go off, you can snooze them or acknowledge them through the watch. No need to go and get your phone from the other room when the alarm goes off.- Weather: You can view live local weather information and the forecast for the next few days.- Music Controls: You can control the audio on your phone e.g. Spotify.- Calendar: You can see what appointments and meetings you have coming up.- Emails: Your can read your emails through the watch.- Battery life: Easily lasts over a week (apparently 13 days).- Waterproof and dustproof: I can't speak for this as I always take off the watch in the shower anyway, but it's good to have some peace of mind in case I do ever get it wet. There's probably even more features that I haven't discovered yet, but I'm honestly so impressed by this watch. I can only think of 2 downsides:- To get the full range of features, you need to be connected to your phone via Bluetooth 24/7, which does drain your phone battery life a little bit.- I'm pretty sure it's only compatible with android phones (best with Samsung phones) - sorry Apple users, you're missing out!Overall, I would highly recommend. It's the best £55 I have ever spent.

I'm so happy Samsung decided to make the fit 3, I've been waiting for a good quality non Chinese branded fitness watch for some time (for data safety reasons) and who better to trust than Samsung!

It's smooth, elegant design to the metal band gives it a premium feel without a premium price.

The functions are plentiful and easy to use, its very easy to navigate and customise.

With continuous heart rate monitor and always on display I got about 2 days battery life.Probably about 7 if always on was off. Longer if using other battery saving tricks!

Just wish it had GPS! But it's been very accurate in it's measurements.

Tracks sleep, steps, heart rate, stress, bloody oxygen.. list goes on. No sycning issues or double steps. Feels amazing. Notifications come through from your phone. If you were like me and on the fence, just do it! Countless different watch faces for different occasions. If your out casual, change it to a watch face, if your working out change it to a workout face, helps tracks steps and cals burnt. Full charge and with constant use lasts around 4-5 days give or take, however.... empty to full charge takes less than an hour!

Really nice looking watch. After reading the reviews regarding the synching, before setting up the watch I turned off the step counter on the Health app on the phone. This has meant that my watch is the only thing registering my steps and has not caused any issues.

Loved being able to change the face back to a traditional clock face rather than a digital view, much easier to read, and so far so good.

Really good looking watch, not too big like some of the others.

Very nice one from Samsung. I dont know do we call it watch or fitness band. Watch in fitness band form factor. Battery backup is 13 days if all features are off except tap to wake. If you use aod, raise to wake, vibrations, bluetooth, notifications then battery will drain fast. Sleep stats spo2 pulse all are not dependable for accuracy and have to be kept in manual for battery to last long before you charge it next. Charger cable is type C so it another headache to find adapter with type c slot. Build is nice metal frame and color pops out of amoled screen looks beautiful. Samsung Wearable app support has many watch faces and this watch is also integrated to samsung health app. Works on samsung phones butter smooth.

I love it. Much better than the random cheap activity trackers from brands like noise or whatever. I tested its heart rate and blood oxygen sensor with my medical grade blood oximeter and both matched perfectly. I'm not sure how good it'll be at tracking these things during intense physical activity but it seems accurate enough for runs and walks.

Battery life seems excellent. I've set it up to measure heart rate continuously, always on display is off, workout auto detect is on, display is set to auto brightness (which works perfectly btw), and I don't do sleep tracking. With this setup, battery drain seems to be around 20% per day which means it has been consistently lasting 5 full days.

The display is sharp enough, although the bottom bezel is not equal to the top. However it's not that visible since it's an OLED. Gets bright enough for midday sun. Notifications work well, although it won't show you notifications that the phone shows when the Fit 3 is not connected (a software update seems to have fixed it or it was just a temporary bug all along). The haptic motor feels good and it's plenty strong. So yeah overall I'm very happy with it so far.

    **Update**
I visited Samsung Service centre, take leave from office, have spent 2hrs there. They said they have Installed the Software (I checked for Software update but no update was available, may be they had access to some Internal system) and the Step issue has been fixed now. So now Steps don't get lost on Sync with App.

But this has caused lot of problems during last 2 months. And today too wasted my time in this summer and 1 leave.

    1) Steps- There is some issue in this band or software. In this first 5 days, for 2 days my data has been lost. I did normal walk throughout the day, went to nearby Shops for some purchase and did around 6000-7000 steps in total. However, when I looked at my data later at the end of the day, Steps were reduced to 245 steps and 139 steps. Seriously!! Where all steps gone?
Just to add here, I did not use any activity and these were normal steps. Also, my mobile always has Bluetooth On, I usually open the app 4-5 times a day and data get Sync automatically each time.

    2) Walking activity- Each fitness band/smartwatch offers a number of activities, which you can easily start/end from your band/watch. One of these activities is "Walking".
In my past experience with Mi Bands and Amazfit smartwatch, the steps covered in Walking activity always gets added to the usual Total Steps count.

    e.g.,
Mi Bands and Amazfit smartwatch- suppose I walked 6000 steps from morning. Then, in the evening, I started the "Walking" activity and do 4000 steps. Once I end the "Walking" activity, Total steps for the day will be 10000. Also, in the app, I will see Total Steps as 10000 and details of the "Walking" activity like other activities.

Samsung Fit3- same example as above. When I end the activity, Fit3 band will show total steps as 10000. But, when I sync the band data with the app, Total steps will be reduced back to 6000 steps. "Walking" activity will be shown in app with details.

Problem is, unlike other fitness bands and smartwatches, Samsung Fit3 app doesn't add the steps covered in "Walking" activity to the usual Steps count.

Ideally, it should, as these are Steps.

Due to this problem, I have stopped using "Walking" activity, as app is giving inaccurate data of Total steps for each day.

    3) Data sync- I have used 2 Mi Fitness bands in the past and 1 Amazfit smart watch (Stratos), and data was synchronised easily once band/watch is connected to Mobile.
However, data synchronisation is slow in Samsung Health app.
Fit3 gets connected in few seconds with app and app will show the recent time as last synchronised. But data will be old and will not match with your band data. In 2-3 mins, data will get updated in app and will matches with your band data.

Then why app shows synchronised 2 mins ago?

    4) Band or Watch- This is a Fitness band (not a Smart watch), however, the dial is larger than standard Fitness Bands (like Fitbit/Garmin/Fit2) and may look like a Smart watch. Some people may use it as a watch.
Many brands are now offering Fitness bands in this design (semi-watch), however, I personally prefer the standard design (like Fitbit/Garmin/Fit2).

    5) Budget- I was looking for a Fitness band in 5k budget and purchased this as it has good brand (Samsung). Market has other fitness bands too in 5k range with more/better features but with low brands (like Amazfit, Xiaomi/Mi, Huawei).
I purchased this band due to Brand name only.

    6) App- usually there is 1 single app, which will show you your data (steps/sleep/SP02/Heart rate etc.) and will also give you options to manage Band features (watch face/Tiles/Units/Settings etc.). However this is not the case with Samsung.

Samsung has created 2 separate apps.
One app (Galaxy Wearable) is to manage Band features. Another app (Samsung Health) is for your Health data.

So, you will have to install these both apps.

    7) Battery- battery is working fine and giving backup of around 7-8 days with normal use.

    8) Refer to the last 2 pictures- Today morning, I went upstairs on the roof. Walk there for 5 mins. Steps count was 569 steps. Then I open the app in mobile, Data got Sync and steps have been reduced to 25 steps. What a joke!!!

I have understood the problem of this Galaxy Fit3. Fit3 is developed by Samsung in a way that it will record your Steps from your mobile only.

While walking, if you keep your mobile in your pocket/hand and your mobile is also walking along with you, then your Band steps will not reduced when you open the Samsung Health app.

If you keep your mobile idle (on table/bed etc.) and you do some walk (let's say you go to nearby market or you are just walking in your home as it is too hot outside or you went for morning walk in nearby park and don't like to keep mobile in pocket). The moment you open the Samsung Health app, all your recent steps will be deleted and your Fit3 steps will match your seps which your mobile did.

I just now experimentd this 3 times and each time my steps have been lost.

Samsung Health app has option of 2 ways of measuring Steps (All Steps (Galaxy Fit3 and phone)/ Mobile phone). By default, it is selected it All Steps. But still, it will match your steps from Mobile to Fit3 and reduced your Steps which were done with Fit3 only.

So, Samsung wants you to keep your mobile with you 24/7. If you don't, your Fit3 steps will be reduced/deleted and app will show only those steps which you did with your Mobile.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste money. Don't purchase this dump product
