I bought 3 x 32inch monitors for sim racing

I bought 3 x 32inch monitors for sim racing
I was looking high and low for reviews for these monitors. There are a few about but you really have to dig.I wanted to upgrade my sim rig to triple monitors and these looked like a decent budget solution. And my conclusion is that they are perfect for anyone wanting to upgrade on a budget.Set up is fairly easy, but the colours do look a bit washed out right out of the box. From other reviews and my own testing you need to use the "Warm" setting to get a good colour representation. Freesync is turned off by default so you need to turn this on to get 165hz. You also need to use DP and not HDMI to get the full refresh rate options.Once you have them dialled in they work great. The colours across the three monitors match exactly. I have not experienced any ghosting or other similar issues. I think people complaining about this have not set the monitors up properly.Overall I am very happy. I managed to get a triple set up for the price of a single 32 OLED. Of course there is no comparison between these two but if you are on a budget you cannot go wrong with these.

The Pixio PX248 Pro is a compelling option for gamers and professionals alike, offering a blend of performance, affordability, and sleek design. Here’s my take after a few weeks of using this monitor.

**Design and Build Quality:**
The PX248 Pro sports a minimalist design that fits well into any setup. The slim bezels provide a modern look, and the matte finish helps reduce glare. The stand is sturdy and offers decent ergonomics with tilt adjustments, although height adjustment is notably absent. The build quality feels solid for the price, and the monitor has a clean, professional appearance.

**Display Performance:**
This 24-inch monitor boasts a Full HD (1920x1080) resolution with an IPS panel, ensuring vibrant colors and wide viewing angles. The color accuracy out of the box is impressive, making it suitable for content creation and casual photo editing. With a refresh rate of 165Hz and a 1ms response time (MPRT), the PX248 Pro excels in fast-paced gaming scenarios. Motion is smooth, and input lag is minimal, which is crucial for competitive gaming.

**Features:**
One of the standout features of the PX248 Pro is its support for AMD FreeSync Premium, which helps eliminate screen tearing and stuttering when paired with a compatible graphics card. The monitor also supports HDR, although it's more of a bonus than a game-changer due to the limited peak brightness. Multiple connectivity options, including HDMI and DisplayPort, make it versatile for different setups.

**User Experience:**
Setting up the Pixio PX248 Pro is straightforward. The on-screen display (OSD) is intuitive, allowing easy adjustments for various settings. The included blue light filter and flicker-free technology contribute to a more comfortable viewing experience during extended sessions. However, the built-in speakers are underwhelming, lacking depth and volume, so dedicated speakers or headphones are recommended.

**Value for Money:**
Considering its price point, the PX248 Pro offers excellent value. It combines high refresh rates, good color reproduction, and essential gaming features without breaking the bank. While it lacks some premium features found in higher-end models, it strikes a great balance for those looking for a capable and affordable gaming monitor.

**Conclusion:**
The Pixio PX248 Pro is a fantastic choice for anyone in need of a high-performance, budget-friendly monitor. Its blend of fast refresh rates, vibrant colors, and gaming-centric features makes it a versatile option for gamers and casual users alike. If you're looking for an upgrade that won't drain your wallet, the PX248 Pro should be at the top of your list.

Overall, the Pixio PX248 Pro impresses with its performance and value, making it a strong contender in the competitive monitor market.

Ive been using this monitor for over a week and had no big issues, its a great value monitor, 165hz feels smooth however there is some ghosting as to be expected with an IPS panel. When it arrived, I checked for dead pixels and there were none which was great.

Pros:
Build quality is great with metal stand and sleek solid plastic construction for the monitor.
OSD has plenty of options and is easy to navigate with the button.
G-Sync does work with my GTX 1080 however it can be a little weird at times.
Colours can be pretty decent depending on the calibration.

Cons:
The included power cable is quite short so if your monitor is not right next to a power outlet bear in mind you may have to get a longer kettle lead.
The included kettle lead is loose in the power brick which can cause it to disconnect easily.
Viewing angles are not the best I have seen from an IPS panel compared to a benq monitor I have. Still much better than TN or VA though.
Ghosting is noticable so if you only care about gaming 24/7 a TN panel may be more suitable.

Overall if you know you want an all purpose 1440p monitor for gaming and watching videos/movies or for working with decent colours and good build quality then you cant really flaw this monitor for the price, it is cheaper than well known brands such as acer and I would argue has better build quality when comparing to my friend's acer monitor.

ok, upfront - can't give 5 stars as my monitor was actually dead on arrival (displayport connection couldn't output over 82hz without either blackscreening or having rgb lines. HDMI could, but I dont have extra pc hdmi ports to available so it was no use to me with one 1/3 outputs working)

however, the monitor itself looked fantastic for the price and was punching above it's weight. The stand was super sturdy, adjustable, just felt like pure quality. Mounting was painless and solid, which you'd think would be a given in the year 2023 but I've seen some nightmare hellscape designed monitors.

Fast IPS so didn't face horrible VA panel smear issues - if you play games that are fast, I would REALLY recommend going for IPS like this. Colour range as advertised, wide, pretty accurate (red was a little over 100% on mine but not to any crazy degree, better than average imo). Freesync premium worked. when testing 165hz thru the working hdmi, extremely smooth, tested next to another 165hz monitor from a more well known brand that cost double and was indistinguishable

upon finding out mine was DoA through displayport and reporting it, customer service was really fast and very helpful. refund was completely painless.

overall - huge shame mine arrived broken, looked great. it should say a lot that despite a DoA monitor I would still really recommend it to people looking for a "budget" 144+hz IPS. think I just got unlucky

Bought this after recommendations for Pixio from friends with older models. Upgraded from an Msi 144hz and this is a great replacement. As a graphic designer and gamer the monitor is great for both design work due to its great colour accuracy and as it's ips as well as great immersion for gaming both with the vibrance and brighness and 165hz refresh rate.

My only gripe is the sheer size of the stand however it's only an issue if you have a very narrow desk and/or want minimal desk space taken up by peripherals. Despite this, for me I don't particularly mind, especially as I plan to get a rather large desk down to line and potentially vesa mount.

Would definitely recommend this monitor

I bought this monitor because it came highly recommended on YT -especially by Optimum Tech and Consumer Tech Reviews. I've had it for close to a month now and it really delivers on quality especially at such a low price. Colors are nice and accurate, refresh rate goes up to 165Hz with the included display cable, the brightness is decent, and the stand is top tier in my opinion. The viewing experience is great and so far, I'm happy with the purchase. The monitor has some in-built speakers which aren't the best but get the job done. You get your money's worth there. No issues so far, great monitor at a great price.

I bought this monitor at the highest resolution which could be accommodated by my current (2017) laptop computer. What more is there to say?

My only complaint is that the supplied stand does not allow much flexibility in positioning. However, I purchased a mounting bracket which eliminated that problem.

Going from 1080p 144hz to 1440p 165hz was definitely noticeable. FOR THE BETTER. I know average joe reviews help me throughout the buying process, so I hope this helps some of you out there make a decision on whether or not this monitor is for you!

I’ve had the same AOC G2590FX for about 1.5yrs. Been a great monitor, but I started to have considerable difficulty recognizing objects at distance (specifically Warzone). Decided it was time to jump up to 1440p for the pixel density and clarity. I am beyond impressed. Although the PX277 Prime isn’t the cheapest 1440p monitor out there, the current price, performance, and features set it apart from the rest for me.

I was looking for a Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD, but all three of my orders fell through. Then wanted the PX7 Prime but couldn’t get that in stock within my desired timeline. Soooo long story short I initially selected the PX277 Prime simply because it was the best monitor (based off advertised stats) that I could find available.

Initial impressions: color out of the box was too warm, bit under saturated, and not bright enough. I made some simple tweaks and immediately had it exactly where I wanted it. (My settings are in the associated pics). All colors seem true, blacks and gray areas appear very uniform, and refresh rate/input response are more than adequate for FPS. I don’t have any hardware that will provide official results, but my average gamer eyes (Warzone and MW multiplayer exclusively) are beyond pleased. I have no difference in reaction time/ performance than I had while playing at 1080p. If anything, my awareness is enhanced due to the clarity and fidelity of textures as well as my ability to see farther/identify objects at distance.

If you’re on a budget, this is a great option. Can’t say it’s the best because I haven’t tried any other 1440p monitors, but based off available reviews online for comparable monitors in this price range The PX277 Prime’s performance is top notch based off my experience. (Model as of September 2020)

Been using the monitor for a few days and it's been good, great quality pictures and colors.

-the packaging arrived in a rough shape, but everything inside was intact, amazon packaging was good.
-the monitor has backlight bleeding, which is expected from a ips monitor (the camera processing makes it look worse) is not noticeable when I use it but is something to be taken into consideration.
- It has ghosting, nothing too crazy but is there, I do casual gaming, and hasn't been an issue for me but I can see it being a problem if someone is into competitive gaming.

overall I'm happy with my purchase, a lot of real state for productivity and good enough colors for my level of video/photo editing, definitely an improvement from my old monitor. Wish Pixio would do something about the packaging damage, I've seen another reviews with the same problem.
