I managed to buy this watch for £578.00, it is the Mark one ultra, and not the mark two, I guess I got it for this price because it is the Mark one, my wrist is 7 inches so it fits well, there is a lot that this watch can do, but I am not at the moment taken full advantage of what it has to offer, one thing I do like is I just might happen to be out in the garden and my phone is inside in the kitchen and when it rings I can talk to my watch and hear the person at the other end quite like that, I use a 15 pro max and it works very well with my phone. if you are into running,swimming, cycling etc then I would recommend this watch,it will serve you well as it can give you a ton of information on your iPhone. I wanted the orange Alpine loop strap, but it was not available at the time, so I went with the Alpine Starlight one instead. there is a lot more to this watch than meets the eye but there are plenty of videos on YouTube that can tell you what you can do, and other hidden features. If your budget is a bit tight, then go with this one otherwise spend a little more and go for the ultra 2,I’m sure you’ll be happy with it I am so far.This is a big watch on your wrist I feel 7inc wrist & bigger is fine,under 6 inches it may look to big for your wrist. Go to an Apple Store & try one on before you decide to buy this watch.

I have had an Apple Watch since they first came out and had been saving up for an Ultra since they were released last year. They were on offer on Prime day in July for an amazing price so I bought one. The screen is huge however the watch doesn’t feel big on the wrist. The screen is very vibrant and displays all the information I want. One thing that has really surprised me is the battery life. I have been getting five days out of a full charge and that’s with using it for measuring runs and walks. I am really glad that I bought one. It is typical superb Apple quality.

Won't go into the features but quick testing of heart rate, sleep tracking, ECG, activity and depth testing were all super impressive although getting a reading from the depth meter that you lasted 30 seconds submerged to 1.5m is a little bit humbling!
From a design perspective, this is a large watch - I have 20cm wrists and typically enjoy 40mm to 44mm watches but this is a big old girl. It's not heavy - titanium is an excellent choice for a large watch due to its lighter weight than stainless steel.
The supplied Alpine loop is ok but I've bought a few other straps separately and the strap change system for Apple Watch is awesome as always.
A final note to say I bought this from the Amazon Warehouse and the watch arrived in pristine condition. The box had been opened and the watch was maybe tried on and found too big. No damage, nothing missing and a massive saving over retail. Not saying every experience would be the same of course!
