Packaging can be tricky
I really love how eco-friendly this product is and I get a solid 6 hours from it most days. However, it takes quite a bit of effort to push the stick up and I've sometimes pushed too hard which means there's now too much out to close it easily. It doesn't really seem to reverse (or else I haven't figured out how to do that) so it does feel like the packaging makes this a bit of a steep learning curve for how much force is required.That said, I love the smell. I think I'd be happier if I could use it from a tin so I avoid having to figure out how to shut this without scraping a bunch of deoderant off and wasting it/ finding a temporary tub for it. I'm likely to skip the cardboard tube middleman and just look for a tin in the future.

My favourite deodorant. Couldn't live without it! Lovely light fragrance, great at keeping you smelling fresh and odour-free all day! The refill stick is handy for travelling because it's lightweight and fits easily into a carry-on bag. That said, I prefer it with the plastic applicator (I know, I know! Plastic is bad!).

To me it smells like a candle and feels like one too it doesn't swipe easily onto the underarm so to get a good amount on it really hurt my skin and left me with bright red sore areas. It didn't work, I normally use dove stick and I can go over 24 hours without a bad scent coming but this deoderant didn't even last 4 hours and when the odour came i couldn't even tell apart from coming quite close so by the time I realised I needed to clean myself (still less than 24 hrs later mind) the scent of the deoderant and the odour was so strong and stuck to my now sore skin that I could barely wash it off. The vetiver scent I don't think works with my skin I dunno about skin in general but it created a new scent when mixed with my natural body odour that was so foul I have literally never smelt myself be so bad even when I went 2 weeks without changing my clothes, cleaning my underarms or using deoderant at all when I was clinically depressed and unmotivated. I have tried washing my underarms with different bar and liquid soaps 3 or 4 times in the past 24 hours and the horrid smell is still lingering and my armpits are super sore I can't shave or use any deoderant or a perfumed cream on them right now to try and hide the smell until my armpits are able to be cleaned without pain I had to wash them with just water and am now having to put coconut oil onto them to moisturise and neutralise the odour I think it could be an allergic reaction to the high perfume content though this has never happened before with any deoderant and I've tried lots, or maybe it's just because I had to use such force to get any deoderant onto my skin. The deoderant is also very crumbly when you do get any off the stick and drops everywhere it went all over my bedsheets and made a mess and the cardboard packaging doesn't seem to work super well as this makes a mess too when pushing the stick up and down and putting the lid on. A lot gets smeared on the outside of the tube. It's a strange scent but not bad seems to suit a candle moreso but it's strong like you'd want from a deoderant and I love the idea behind it but unfortunately I had a very bad experience. I hope this review will help with product improvements. I bought this because it had good reviews and was cruelty free I'm not bothered about it being vegan or all natural or organic or environmentally friendly personally (no problem with it doing those things too I'm just saying they don't sway me but I will only buy leaping bunny approved stuff) as I need to find a new deoderant that works but this did NOT fit the bill. I was thinking of trying a different scent at first but after the soreness it gave me its just put me off any more of these deoderant products.

This works as well as if not better than most deodorants on the market at preventing body odour for a full day.

The downsides are that especially at colder temperatures it becomes crumbly and difficult to apply, and secondly it runs out quite fast if you apply liberally. The hard stick they sell lasts far longer but I don’t think is as good.

I was delighted to find a way of not causing plastic waste.
The smell of the deodorant in the stick is very pleasant.
The texture when applying is gritty, and it doesn’t ‘stay’ well - flakes so need to apply quite a lot.
The problem is that after using it for a few weeks I started noticing a very unpleasant mouldy odour coming from the armpits of my clothing, not typical body odour at all. I realised it was caused by the deodorant (since stopped using it the odour has gone from my armpits) am still repeat washing my clothes to remove the odour.
