Love the new bright OLED screen. Compares really well with the other screens in the market. I love how the movies occupy the full screen with no black bars. I own the Pixel 7 Pro as well as my work phone and I find scrolling on this much more appealing.
I love how the pictures come out in daylight, the quality is second to none. The autofocus system in insanely precise and it better be with the underlying alpha camera tech.
The low light photography might need a stand and isn't something I prefer. I use the pixel 7 pro for low light shots.
The audio via the headphone jack is decent. I prefer having it as an option and can continue to use my high end audiophile grade headphones. One of the key reasons for me to buying this and not the Fold 4.
The interface otherwise is quite clean and simple with minimal bloatware. Highly recommended!!

Great specs but gets very hot!

He was using previous to this a Sony mobile but obviously with specs no where as good as this Sony Xperia 1 IV.Been in use for a couple of days now and there's is an issue with it getting very hot, this is a brand new phone, surely it shouldn't get so so quick!The best thing about this phone is the camera, its amazing but the video is not so good.The camera has true optical zoom with ZEISS quality, it has a triple lense camera, great for Live streaming.This phone is fast and so much faster than hubby's old one.The display is crystal clear but would be better if the screen was bigger and when you look at the price you would expect at least a 7 inch screen!The sim card slot can easily be caught which makes it come open but once I get a cover for it that will hopefully stop that issue.This is a lightweight phone weighing in at only 185g that's comfortable to hold, its quite flat and has a Matte finish.I actually thought this came with headphones as the description pic has headphones with it but no headphones are included.Sound quality is OK but not the best, I have a Huawei mate 20x which I love, sound quality is spot on.Anyway hubby is very happy with this but concerned about it getting so hot, gets hot even when on charge so we do not leave it on charge un supervised just in case it catches fire and burns our home down, that would horrific! .... The best phone on the market if you really want the following features onboard:
- LED diod
- 3.5 Jack port
- memory card compability
- SIM tray pulled out just with a click, no need to use a needle
- sleek and compact design (you can operate this 6.5" device with one hand)
Also I love this smartphone for having powerful components, Gorilla glass on frond AND back and its camera which takes natural and great looking pictures. I woudln't have change this smartphone for another brand, because other brands are almost identical - Sony's smartphones stand out and are ellegant.

A livello di reattiva dello schermo e del software rispecchia il top di gamma che rappresenta, la batteria da 5000 Mah arriva tranquillamente a fine serata con un utilizzo quasi costante, se l'utilizzo è sporadico si riescono a fare anche 2 giorni (spegnendolo la sera e riaccendendolo il giorno dopo). Per quanto riguarda i surriscaldamenti che alcuni lamentano, anche con utilizzo medio, personalmente non ne ho riscontrati (forse con aggiornamenti software li hanno eliminati) posso affermare che la versione precedente (Xperia 1 III) ne soffriva, anche con tutti gli aggiornamenti eseguiti, soprattutto durante l'utilizzo della navigazione con Google Maps e della fotocamera. Sono rimasto così piacevolmente colpito che ne ho comprato un altro, come regalo.
