I bought these bulbs to replace some older candle stick bulbs I'm rather impressed about how bright they actually are and they use very little power.With all Amazon products build quality is very good. The bulbs I bought are 100 watt equivalent, and I use them over my kitchen island. They are nice and bright for when I'm preparing food, and dim really well, for when we are eating at table nearby.

I love that they dim without flickering, or humming/buzzing. I've bought (and returned) a number of bulbs in the past week or so, and they weren't suitable for my 8 year old dimming switch, without the above issues.

Can't comment on longevity, as I have only just installed them.

I've given brightness 4 stars, as these bulbs are half covered with heavy plastic on the bayonet end, (yes, I know we can see that in the images). This means the light from them is cut 'in half' as well... and that cut off line is visible through the shades I use. This is not a huge issue for me, as to find 100w equivalent lightbulbs that dim properly, right down to 'off', is wonderful!

As long as you have the right dimmer switch, these are happy to dim down to pretty much off, and all the way to full brightness. All without buzzing.

This Amazon Basics LED light bulb works properly with our existing touch dimmer, no flicker or faint light when off, whilst my purchase of a Megaman LED Light Bulb 142582 Dimmable RichColour R9 GLS Style Classic Opal LED Light Bulb B22 Bayonet 2800K Warm White 13.3W 1055lm A+ Rating 2500, Did Not. There was still light being emitted when switched off. Previously we'd had to use a 150W tungsten or 100+W enclosed halogen.
Will this Amazon Basics LED bulb work OK with your dimmer I cannot say, it does with ours.

OK for outdoor use, who knows? The specifications below the headline says outdoors/indoors, yet reading further down it reads indoors only. Anyway what's the issue with this bulb being in an enclosure outdoors that's protected from the rain?

Some negative reviews go back to 2018, those purchased then might not be the same ones that you buy today. This LED bulb has reduced our power requirements to light this bedroom with it's touch dimmer switch from over 100W to just 13W, and that's brilliant.

Firstly "warm white" isn't white - it's bright yellow.
They can certainly be used very bright and dim well with a suitable controller.

However they are noisy. This seems to have been missed by most users and those who have commented on this generally seem to get missed, but there is a constant buzzing sound which gets louder as you dim the bulb. If you have big room or other noises you might not hear it, but if you're in a small office enviroment like mine - find something else.
