Beware of deceptive advertising of features from Mi shop, I bought a Redmi 5G Pro on assumption it would have a slot for SD card. It wasn't listed on Mi Store limited phone spec, my older Redmi Note is better specced than this Note 12 Pro 5G. It's useless for my needs. not buying Xiaomi products again after this v poor experience.

Bought this to replace a Xiaomi Note 8.
I bought a Redmi Note 10 first and returned it because the whites were yellow.

Then I bought this.

And the whites are yellow. But I need 5g as they are degrading the 4g signal round here.

I will try and return this,. probably buy a Note 10 and live with the yellow whites.

This phone is no faster in daily use than the Redmi Note 8. It has an unresponsive screen with awful whites. Battery life is appalling, won't go a day of the same use I was giving the Note 8. Memory not expandable, full of dumb bloatware, mostly games only a 5 year old would play. And the awkwardly placed fingerprint scanner is just annoying after the Note 8 with its perfectly scanner

On the plus side it charges fast with the included charger. With the 5g that seems to be the only advantage over the Note 8.

If you need 5g on a budget, get the Note 10. Same yellow whites but £80 cheaper.
